Responsibilities

Role Overview
The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring all Thrive Venture Groupowned Orangetheory Fitness studios operate safely, efficiently, and at the highest standard of cleanliness and functionality. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and field-based, requiring strong technical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a multi-unit fitness organization.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular visits to all company-owned locations to assess repairs, safety, and overall facility condition (interior and exterior)
Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections on building systems and fitness equipment
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, including after-hours situations as needed
Execute emergency and non-emergency repairs in a timely manner.
Manage and track facilities-related expenses while working within established budgets
Prepare facilities for seasonal and weather-related changes; proactively identify and address potential issues
Maintain familiarity with equipment and facility warranty specifications to ensure proper service and compliance
Collaborate closely with the Facilities Director to ensure all studios are operating at an optimal level.
Utilize internal platforms and systems to ensure repairs, communication, and documentation are organized, accurate, and timely
Communicate clearly and consistently; respond to emails, calls, and messages in a timely manner
