**Job Category:** Mx Mechanic Ensures all maintenance on company aircraft is performed correctly per applicable standards and regulations. Assists in maintaining facility in compliance with company and OSHA regulations.

+ Supervises Mechanics in overall maintenance operation, including performing preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in compliance with 14 CFR, manufactures specifications, the GMM, Company policy and procedures as well as other methods accepted by the FAA and OSHA.
+ Performs duties in all areas inside and outside the hangar as well as at the airport terminal.
+ Plans and priorities work, which includes prioritizing, directing, laying out and coordinating activities so as to minimize delays, increase production and efficiency, and to assure timely delivery of aircraft.
+ Determines job standards, tests personnel productivity, safety habits and workmanship.
+ Understands, communicates and enforces company policies and procedures. Recommends changes to GMM to eliminate conflicts and/or enhance operational effectiveness.
+ Reviews and approves material requests. Ensures adherence to material handling and control procedures as outlined in the GMM and by the equipment manufacturers. Coordinates with Materials team to ensure required materials arrive as needed.
+ Oversees the completion of shift turnover reports in accordance with the GMM.
+ Conducts shift meetings, briefings and participates in management meetings, including shift turnover. Adheres to established work schedule.
+ Ensures the maintenance area is maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Provides timely and accurate information on aircraft status. Communicates accurately to Maintenance Control the status of aircraft serviceability and readiness.
+ Trains and assists mechanics in proper procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty. Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of the OJT program.
+ Guides the mechanics in the handling and operation of shop equipment, ground equipment, vehicles, fuel dispensing equipment and tools to assure equipment is used safely and kept in serviceable condition.
+ Ensures all departmental internal company forms, maintenance records documents, work orders, manual revision compliance, etc. is completed accurately. Monitors and updates timekeeping and payroll entry on a timely basis.
+ Recommends changes to processes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
+ Provides technical leadership to team and department members. Leads through example; Monitors, influences and trains others. Provides input to supervisor on performance reviews and helps to identify development needs. Provides performance feedback, counseling and takes corrective action as necessary. May conduct performance review for assigned mechanics.
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
+ High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
+ Two years A&P experience on similar aircraft.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
+ 4 years of A&P mechanic experience on similar aircraft.
+ Previous lead or supervisory experience.
+ RII qualification of applicable aircraft
+ Run and Taxi qualification on applicable aircraft.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
+ Possess a stable employment history.
+ Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
+ Must possess the required tools.
+ Must be able to communicate in an effective, calm and professional manner at all times.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Establish and assign routine maintenance schedules and coordinate machine downtime.
Maintain inventory of parts and supplies with a focus on cost controls.
Schedule work, coordinate production activities, provide direct oversight of employees.
Ensure predictive and preventive maintenance programs are accomplished and repairs are completed.
Establish and maintain maintenance budgets.
Recommend capital improvements including assisting the design and installation of new equipment.

Associates degree or completed certification in production maintenance.
5+ years' previous experience in equipment and electrical maintenance.

POSITION PURPOSE The Manager of Vehicle Maintenance is responsible for leading the team of Vehicle Maintenance Supervisors and Mechanics to ensure rolling stock is available for service while controlling department workflow. POSITION PURPOSE
The Manager of Vehicle Maintenance is responsible for leading the team of Vehicle Maintenance Supervisors and Mechanics to ensure rolling stock is available for service while controlling department workflow. What Will You Be Doing?
Responsible for providing shift level oversight for all line maintenance activities at the assigned Maintenance base. Coordinates activities between Station Operations, Flight Ops, Flight dispatch, MCC and Inspection departments and the business partner.
Essential Functions
* Manage, monitor, and coordinate SMS activities,
* Identify hazards and safety risks
* Provide shift level management, operational control, oversight and procedural guidance
* Develop plans and prioritize maintenance activity to assure safe and expedient aircraft return to service to established schedule
* Escalation of issues/conflicts with achieving daily operational objectives, as appropriate.
* Shift level oversight of compliance with Frontier maintenance manuals and company policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough communications with Maintenance Control and Maintenance Planning to ensure all maintenance is completed on schedule.
* Validate line maintenance aircraft tooling is available, maintained/calibrated, and controlled to meet daily task requirements.
* Manage labor schedules to ensure required capacity; planned and actual
* Ensure timely documentation compliance, including accuracy, entry into the maintenance tracking systems, and submission to Maintenance Records.
* Compliance with CFRs and Frontier policy/procedures, including sick/vacation reporting
* Coordinate charters and field trips, including tooling, parts, materials/hazmat, and manuals
* Ensure compliance with applicable labor agreements or contracts
* Provide direct management of support shops personnel and management of production where applicable
* Coordinate with other organization and departments for optimal safety, compliance, and operational performance
* Prepare performance assessments of direct reports where applicable
* Maintain and track performance KPIs, and report out on KPI data when requested
Other Functions
* Has the authority to determine the Airworthiness of a Frontier Airline Aircraft
* Has the authority to request changes to Frontier Airline Manuals via PCR process
* Has the authority to determine the Serviceability of Frontier Airlines tooling
* Has the authority to Assign Lead and A&P Mechanics to work packages where applicable
* Has the authority to determine manpower required for assigned jobs
* Has the Authority to Assign Field Trips as required
* Has the Authority to determine Maintenance mechanics and Supervisors work schedules where applicable
* Has the Authority to Approve direct reports Vacation time requests where applicable
* Has the Authority and responsibility to enforce contracts and agreements in place related to line MX work groups and vendors where applicable

Qualifications
* FAA Certificated Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic rating and License
* Working knowledge of 121 Federal Aviation Regulations
* 10 years aircraft line mechanic maintenance experience
* 5 years Supervisor Aircraft line maintenance experience
* Previous experience managing a Line Maintenance Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
* High School Diploma
* Preferred Bachelors degree in management, engineering or equivalent
* Must have ability to plan, organize, and administrate workloads to subordinates
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* A working knowledge of 121 Federal Aviation Regulations
* Ability to manage the Line maintenance Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program

Essential duties of the Maintenance Manager:

Physical requirements for the Maintenance Manager:
This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures can
fluctuate from hot to cold and noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop,
twist, turn and climb frequently. With proper safety equipment, an individual in this role may work above
ground level (off the ground) for long periods of time. An individual in this role will need to be aware of
movement and/or noises around them at all times. An individual in this role must move 50lbs frequently and up
to 75lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and
this role requires individuals to read and follow written procedures in English.

Job Description:
The Regional Aircraft Maintenance Manager (RAMM) is responsible for providing oversight of and assistance to its assigned outstation maintenance locations. Complies with Company policies and procedures outlined within the General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Maintenance Procedures Manual (MPM) or any Company standard operating procedure document.
Maintains a safe work environment and reports any unsafe conditions.
Performs quality maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inspections to conform within the standards established by the Company, Federal regulation and industry best practices achieving the highest reliability goals.
Ensures Outstation Monthly Checklists are accomplished and that any findings are corrected.
Provides technical support, as needed, in support of assigned aircraft.
Updates and interfaces with computerized maintenance tracking program(s).
Ensures aircraft parts are requested in a timely manner to address unscheduled and deferred maintenance items.
Perform maintenance planning along with the management oversight of inspections, repairs and modifications.
Ensures timely scheduling of maintenance in order to least impact flight schedule and provide for high degree of aircraft availability.
Proactively provides recommendations for company policies and procedures.
Assist in locating on-call maintenance providers in his/her assigned region.
Provides support in troubleshooting defective aircraft systems and components in an effective manner.
Ensures that necessary tooling and/or equipment is available to accomplish the assigned project/task.
Responsible for accuracy of time and attendance/personal leave ensuring adequate coverage to support the maintenance operation.
Recommend specific training for employee personnel and help determine attendees.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned or required.
Physical Requirements:
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands; and talk and hear.
Frequently required to stand, walk, or sit for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
Occasionally required to climb or balance, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
May be occasionally required to climb ladders, high spaces and/or stairs.
Specific vision required for this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
May be required to work in confined spaces.
Work Environment:
Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart.
Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace.
The work environment may be extremely hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
Qualifications
Be at least 23 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to travel in and out of the United States.
Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
Ability to travel within assigned region to provide required oversight and assistance.
Two (2) years of college or equivalent technical training, in related field preferred
Ten (10) years of experience in aviation maintenance.
Three (3) years or more in a supervisory role within a 14 CFR Part 135 or Part 121 operation, preferred.
Practical aircraft maintenance experience on assigned or similar type of aircraft.
Thorough knowledge of maintenance planning, along with management oversight of inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Operational knowledge of laptop and desktop computers, working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat or related presentation programs. Operational knowledge of Outlook is required. Competency with internet navigation is also required.
Experience with CTA/FOS and computerized maintenance tracking software programs is desirable.
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state and federal regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts as needed including nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
Must understand, read, and write English.

Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
Must possess the ability to accomplish duties in a manner that adheres to regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, local, and federal regulations.
