About the Role >>> Director, Clinical Monitoring Oversight
As the Director, Clinical Monitoring Oversight, reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Operations, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for global clinical site monitoring activities across Olema's clinical programs. You will ensure that clinical monitoring - whether by internal teams, through Functional Service Providers (FSPs), or outsourced to Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) - is executed with high standards of quality and consistency while maintaining compliance with GCP regulations. You will oversee Olema's Clinical Monitoring Oversight Leads, regional monitoring teams, and site performance. As the Director, Clinical Monitoring Oversight, you will develop and implement monitoring oversight strategies and standards for Olema's clinical monitoring execution worldwide-driving operational excellence, data integrity, and inspection readiness across all trials with an emphasis on risk-based, data driven processes.
This role is based out of either our Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA office and will require about travel 15% travel.
Your work will
primarily
encompass:
Provide strategic direction and operational oversight of all global monitoring activities across Olema's clinical programs
Oversee internal clinical monitoring oversight team and FSP vendor responsible for providing Regional Site Monitoring Leads (RSMLs), ensuring alignment, consistency, and accountability across global regions
Establish and maintain effective governance with the FSP partner, including performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in monitoring quality and efficiency
Define and implement Olema's monitoring strategy, including risk-based and centralized monitoring approaches in alignment with ICH-GCP and regulatory expectations
Ensure global harmonization of clinical monitoring processes, training, and documentation across programs and regions
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to evaluate site performance, FSP delivery, and regional oversight effectiveness

Knowledge:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline or a related scientific field is required

Who You Are:
Master s degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis (BCBA required).
At least 2 years of experience as a BCBA (needed to supervise Graduate ABA program staff).
At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with ASD.
Proven experience in leadership, strategic planning, and staff training.
Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, behavior data systems, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to collaborate, innovate, and drive positive change in a fast-paced environment.
DDS experience is a plus.
Experience with Massachusetts community-based systems is a bonus.

Provides clinical support and direct supervision to Therapists, Clinical Service Coordinators, and other support staff as needed including Peer Support Specialists and/or Targeted Case Managers.
Ensures proper case supervision and consultation through accessibility and flexibility with their staff as needed.
Leads group consultation/supervision for the clinical team, i.e., Case Managers, Clinical Service Coordinators, Therapists, and Support Staff.
Makes any recommendations for program modifications/changes to the Senior Outpatient Treatment Director and/or Chief Treatment Officer (CTO).
Collaborates with the Senior Outpatient Treatment Director and CTO to ensure therapeutic services for all clients.
Keeps abreast of potential crisis situations involving clients and assists clinical staff in crisis management and resolution.
Provides individual, group, and family treatment, as appropriate, to clients based on clinical issues and treatment needs.
Assists OP Senior Treatment Directors and CTO with providing support and guidance to OP Clinical Service Coordinators, therapists, and other OP/SA staff members in developing systems to promote efficiency and efficacy in delivering treatment services.

The School-Based Services (SBS) ClinicalDirector is responsible for clinical leadership, oversight, and quality of all school-based behavioral health services. This role ensures that services delivered in school settings are trauma-informed, evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and fully compliant with federal, state, and agency requirements. This position oversees clinical programming, assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and outcomes or students receiving services in collaboration with school districts and community partners.
Organizational duties & responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of all staff is to ensure the safety and well-being of all Ramey-Estep/Re-group (RE) clients.
Supports the mission, vision, and values of RE. Facilitates and adheres to the agency's code of ethics, policies, and procedures.
Supports all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies.
Supports and facilitates positive interaction with clients and staff by exhibiting both in-office and in-public when carrying out job duties: individual maturity, respect for others, a team-centered approach, maintenance of confidential information, and awareness and sensitivity to cultural and other differences in clients and staff.
Exhibits effective communication skills, including proper use of agency communication systems.
Participates in appropriate professional development programs to attain and maintain competency.
Effectively manages financial and physical resources to achieve the mission of RE.
Reports incidents of abuse or potential abuse involving clients to the appropriate authorities and RE.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all school-based behavioral health services.
Ensure compliance with CCBHC, Medicaid, Medicare, and Kentucky regulatory requirements, as well as grants and contracts.
Oversee assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, service delivery, and discharge planning in school settings.
Supervise and support clinical supervisors and school-based clinicians through regular supervision, coaching, and performance management.
Ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate practices are implemented consistently.
Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Ensures all necessary records are maintained and kept confidential.
Provide direct clinical oversight of clients served by therapists under their supervision, including review of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical decision-making to ensure high-quality, ethical, and effective care.
Participate in the OP Quality Workgroup for continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Analyze data related to access, utilization, outcomes, and satisfaction; implement improvement strategies as needed.
Collaborate with school districts, administrators, and staff to coordinate services and address student needs.
Serve as primary clinical liaison with schools and community partners.
Support crisis response, safety planning, and coordination of emergency services in school settings as well as assisting with after-hours and weekends on-call schedule.
Oversee referrals, intakes, and service assignment in collaboration with referral management and supervisors.
Ensure staff are trained in CCBHC requirements, school-based policies, and evidence-based practices.
Participate in grant, contract, and reporting requirements related to school-based services, if applicable.
Support workforce development, recruitment, and retention of school-based clinicians.
Participate in agency leadership, strategic planning, and policy development.
Promote culturally responsive, equitable, and family-centered care.
Ensures school MOU's/MOA's are established and updated annually with local school districts to allow RE to provide school-based services.
Schedule and facilitate Mental Health Meetings with local schools monthly, or at the discretion of the school.
Develop, implement, and evaluate school-based programming and service models to address student and school-identified needs, including prevention, early intervention, crisis response, and ongoing therapeutic services.
Develop and distribute school-based service satisfaction surveys, interpret feedback to assess areas of improvement, and develop a plan with agency leadership to improve service array.
Promotes a positive view of RE to the public and outside agencies.
Provides individual, group, collateral, and family treatment, as appropriate, to clients based on clinical issues and treatment needs.
Maintains current therapy notes, treatment reports, and other written documentation and correspondence according to agency policy and within appropriate time frames.
Attends and participates in all therapist/clinical meetings and assists others in developing appropriate intervention techniques, case consultations, and providing clinical service updates.
Maintains current licensure and stays within ethical guidelines provided by your licensure board.
Participates in supervision and consultation regularly.
Collaborates effectively with other assigned RE services and community partners.
Assists in crisis intervention efforts to maintain the safety of clients and use crisis as an opportunity for
growth.
Assists with the File Review process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working conditions/environment:
The shift is generally Monday - Friday, but hours will vary based on the client's needs.
Holidays, weekends, and extra hours may be required.
Intense, unpredictable population with the possibility of verbal and physical aggression.
A fast-paced environment with the need for quick decisions to deal with any crisis that may arise.
Traveling throughout the week to meet with clients, families, and/or community partners in home and/or school settings as well as out-of-town meetings.
Primary work setting is within the assigned program. OP Clinical Services Coordinators will be in community settings, including the client's home and school.

minimum job requirements:
Education:
A Master's Degree from an accredited university in a clinical field, i.e., social work, counseling, or psychology, from an accredited college/university is required.
Experience:
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Experience in community-based programs is preferred.
Experience in addressing trauma and promoting the recovery of children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and adults with serious mental illness (SMI) is preferred.
Experience providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services in behavioral health or related settings is preferred.
Specific Skills andrequirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
Must maintain a valid Driver's License and insurability.
Must have excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Technical requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other applications the organization or regulatory agencies uses.
Ability to understand and relate to the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to read, write, and converse in English.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
Successful completion of a background screening.
Successful completion of a TB skin test or proof of a negative chest x-ray or other documentation.
Specialized Licenses or training:
Independent Licensure or independent license eligibility is required.
Maintains 40 hours of Annual Training through Relias or other appropriate sources.
Maintains at least minimum training for licensure.
Attends all assigned training specific to job assignment.

What you bring to SBHG (Qualifications):
