As an PCA, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while adhering to the prescribed care plans. Personal Care Assistance: Help patients with personal care tasks, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and maintaining hygiene. Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, shopping for groceries and household items, preparing and serving meals/snacks, and supporting patients with eating as needed. Mobility Assistance: Aid patients in transferring, moving in and out of bed or chairs, walking, and other mobility tasks to ensure their safety and comfort. Emergency Support: Know when and how to seek emergency assistance if required to ensure the patient's safety and well-being. Comfort and Safety: Provide attentive care during your shifts, ensuring patient comfort and security when caregivers are absent. Professional Development: Attend in-service meetings and training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills. Professional Conduct: Maintain a positive, professional attitude and project a caring image, wearing the company-issued ID badge at all times. Technology Use: Utilize applications like Paylocity, Authenticare, MatrixCare, HHAExchange, and Carebridge as required for recordkeeping and communication. Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management to meet the needs of the patient and team.
