Duties/Responsibilities: Operating, processing, and analyzing biomechanics and other tracking data from a laboratory and/or on-field setting Supporting research projects focused on player performance and biomechanics Working with data visualization tools; interpreting reports and communicating results to front office, coaching staff, player development, scouting, and medical/performance staff as well as players Other duties as assigned Basic Requirements/Qualifications: Preference for an academic background in a STEM field (mechanical engineering, biomechanics, physics, mathematics, etc.) Some computer programming experience (Python, command line tools) Familiarity with SQL / database querying Strong communication (written & verbal) skills Desire to work in a collaborative team environment (Arizona-based) Experience working in a biomechanics lab environment preferred and Spanish speaking a plus Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer months Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Passionate about working for a professional sports team Proactive and out of the box thinking This program consists of 80% in-department work, 15% cross-functional project experience, and 5% additional programming.
