About the role
The Ishizuka Lab (Yale School of Medicine) is recruiting a post-graduate dry lab Research Associate to drive analysis and biological insights from multi-modal and single cell genomics data gathered from patient tumor immune samples and murine models. A portion of the role will also include support of the development and application of next-gen AI-enabled protein design approaches.
We are seeking, reliable, self-motivated and ambitious candidates who will be trusted to build reproducible analyses, produce interpretable results and communicate clearly with experimental and computational team members. Co-authorship is supported.
Commitment: We strongly prefer candidates who can commit to two consecutive one-year renewable terms (2 years total)
What you'll do:
Manage day-to-day sc RNA-seq analysis: QC, integration, clustering/annotation, differential analyses, etc
Build reproducible workflows (code structure, documentation, version control)
Generate publication-quality figures
Partner with wet-lab teammates to refine experimental design and translate findings into next steps
Help prototype/implement workflows that combine novel AI methods with evolutionary/sequence concepts
Present data and stories internally to the lab and externally as needed
Maintain clear data lineages and documentation so others can reuse/extend your work

Base Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000. Role Overview
As part of our humanitarian mission, MSF conducts hundreds of research studies every year to help us improve patient care and advocate in an evidence-based way for better global health programs and policies. The Research Publication Intern will work with the Project Manager on keeping the platform updated regularly and implement data quality improvements across the front end of the website within the content management system, and to the database directly. Primary, regular duties include data entry, data cleaning/manipulation, and descriptive analysis. The intern will also support other discrete, long-term projects that can range from website development support, dashboard development, research ethics support, and communications planning and support. This internship will start by early March and will be a 3-month internship with the possibility of extension to 6 months total. Syensqo is looking for an intern to work in our PhyChem Cell department and will investigate the role of novel biopolymers and their assemblies for modifying the rheology of personal care products
We count on you for:
* The candidate will investigate the role of novel biopolymers and their assemblies for modifying the rheology of personal care products that is a critical metric for their performance.
* Rheology modification or control of flow of fluids has a large impact on the sensorial behavior and consumer perception of a range of products in the personal care markets from shampoos, conditioners and bodywashes, to lotions, emollients and delivery of actives/drugs through skin.
* Current technologies used are largely derived from petrochemicals including polymers,
* surfactants and even microplastics. The overall goal of this research at the PhysChem Cell is to explore high performance biosourced and sustainable polymeric alternatives for rheology modification. This will entail fundamental investigations of molecular interactions between these biopolymers, and their formulations with surfactants, oils, additives and their self assemblies.
* Besides Rheology, the candidate will have the opportunity to learn and utilize different physical chemistry techniques and tools; such as optical microscopy, confocal, atomic force microscopy, spectroscopy, zeta potential, light scattering, ellipsometry, quartz microbalance, isothermal titration calorimetry as needed in their evaluation.
* The candidate will learn safety procedures in the Syensqo environment and to develop good safety habits. He/she is also expected to carefully record and summarize generated data for the project.
* The candidate will work under the direct supervision of a senior scientist on the related project.

Experiences showing interest in formulation science, surface science, physical chemistry, or colloidal science are a plus.
* We are looking for a talented, creative, observant and intellectually curious student, with good laboratory, analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and competency with computers, instrumentation/software are required. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a project team is essential.

Document data generated in studies, analyze data with appropriate statistical methods, prepare reports and presentations for laboratory members, supervisor, and the research community.

Job Summary:
The Prospect Research Associate will work closely with the Director of Development Research & Prospect Development to provide accurate, timely and relevant information for the potential fundraising cultivation, qualification and engagement of alumni and other constituencies.
The Prospect Research Associate will evaluate financial information, prepare reports for gift officers, and identify high-level prospects and donors to support Marist's fundraising efforts. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with two or more years of experience in prospect research and/or related research activity
Understanding of best practices in fundraising, research, prospect identification, and prospect management
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to function well in a multiple-team environment, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple and varied tasks independently, while also working collaboratively
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Has the ability to use tact and diplomacy, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Essential Functions:
Utilize online resources, screenings, news alerts, reports, and other tools to support prospect identification efforts and ensure prospect records are up to date
Discover, analyze, synthesize, and summarize large volumes of biographic, business, philanthropic, and financial data, including complex financial and legal disclosures, technical and trade documents, court and tax records, corporate annual reports, SEC filings, and real property files to contribute to fundraising strategies for donors, campaigns, and events
Participate in wealth screenings of new families and alumni to evaluate potential donors and their likelihood of giving to various campaign initiative
Prepare research deliverables, such as profiles, bios, and briefing materials for fundraisers and campus leadership in preparation for cultivation meetings and events
Generate reports and prospect lists through donor databases as needed for the Director of Development Research & Prospect Development, front line fundraisers, and Advancement Office staff in all aspects of their work
Coordinate the collection of information from sources across campus to update constituent records and generate bios as needed
Assist with validating the accuracy of constituent records, particularly with giving history
