The Opportunity
Asuragen is a molecular diagnostic product company based in Austin, TX, changing the way patients are treated in genetics and oncology. Asuragen's diagnostic systems, composed of proprietary chemistry and software, deliver powerful answers using broadly installed instrument platforms. They are simple to adopt and expand the ability to serve patients.
Asuragen is seeking an experienced scientist who can work as part of our Molecular Controls and Custom Reagents manufacturing group. This business unit designs, develops and manufactures Armored RNA and DNA targets and additional high-quality molecular control reagents for clients upon request. We follow cGMP standards to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction. The controls we manufacture are used externally to support clinical testing and diagnostic products and internally to support new product development.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the success of the Controls Manufacturing business by turning around projects and products to clients timely and with few to no errors.
Act as project lead for numerous projects
With minimal supervision, perform assigned tasks and report results.
Communicate effectively within the team, Department, and interdepartmentally.
Manage daily laboratory tasks such as inventory and maintenance.
Manage ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system including product structure and work order creation and inventory maintenance
Cross-train to learn basic production and quality control processes.
Remain compliant with all laws and regulations associated with developing and manufacturing FDA regulated products.
Contribute to continuous process improvement.

A minimum of 4 years of previous laboratory experience and/or combined ERP experience required.

As a Program Research Associate, known internally as a Curator, you'll play a vital role in powering the Findhelp SaaS platform by ensuring the social services listed are accurate, up-to-date, and meet our high standards for inclusion. Your day-to-day work will directly impact people seeking help across the country. You'll verify existing program data, research and add new resources, and respond to user requests, often digging into websites, making calls, and writing emails to gather essential information. Verify and maintain existing program data according to findhelp's standards and procedures.
Research and add new organizations and programs that qualify to be added to the network, including but not limited to researching the internet and calling/emailing organizations for more information.
Respond to external requests received in our ticket management system and play an integral role in troubleshooting platform requests.
Work efficiently within all Curation systems and tools.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive culture.

Specific responsibilities:
* The candidate will assist with the design and execution of various experiments. Research will involve field, greenhouse and laboratory experiments related to the area of weed science. An ability to multi-task and oversee several research projects and associated activities is essential. The candidate will interact and collaborate with other Texas A&M system scientists.
* It is expected that the candidate will co-ordinate and manage various research projects and personnel in the weed science program. Further, the candidate will assist the program with communications, accounting, report preparations and other administrative duties as assigned. A strong work ethic, an ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team and strong communication skills are essential. The position involves travel to research stations with some occasional overnight stays.
Education and Experience:
Required:
* The successful candidate will already have or in the process of completing a BS in weed science, agronomy, biology, physiology or a relevant field.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
* An MS in weed science, agronomy, biology, physiology or a relevant field
* A pesticide applicator license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment. Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position.
Preferred:
Knowledge of greenhouse, laboratory and field research involving plant-herbicide interactions and herbicide resistance mechanisms.

Plateau Land & Wildlife is seeking a GIS Technician to join our in-office team in Dripping Springs, Texas or San Antonio locations. This position plays an important role in supporting our wildlife biologist and land management specialist by creating maps, managing data and helping keep projects organized for our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Create clear, accurate maps to support 1-D-1 wildlife management plans and landowner reports.
* Maintain and organize GIS data, including shapefiles and project layers for use in client deliverables
* Assist with integrating GPS data, aerial imagery and other spatial data into ArcGIS Pro.
* Ensure mapping products are consistent and professional across multiple projects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Geography, Wildlife Biology, Natural Resources or related field (or relevant experience)
* Strong experience with GIS software (ArcGIS Pro preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
* Comfortable juggling multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment during filing season
* Good communication skills and willingness to work closely with a team.
Preferred Skills
* Experience working with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools
* Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM/database systems is a plus.
