Originally from the Boston Area, Sally Crawford (Jensen), Chief Operations Officer and former Business Development Manager for Noraxon, attended University of Rochester graduating with a BS in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics. An outstanding student she received national recognition in biomechanical engineering http://www.rochester.edu/news/show.php?id=2573. She went on to complete Masters Degree in Neuromuscular Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics. Sally’s Dissertation, published by Northeastern BMES, IEEE, and RESNA, initiated Hands-Up! which is an adaptive video game platform designed for the rehabilitation of children with severe orthopedic disabilities. It is now part of the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center's (RERC) Technology for Children with Orthopedic Disabilities programs including those at the Children's Specialized Hospital in New Jersey. Directly after graduating Sally started with Noraxon USA, Inc.

Sally is an avid runner and athlete, setting women's distance records at the college and graduate level. After school she left the Boston area, moving to Traverse City Michigan and then Denver, CO, both outdoors-man and runners heaven. Aside from running, she also enjoys traveling domestically and internationally whenever possible.

Sally’s interests include (but certainly are not limited to) biomedical engineering applications such as video, movement, running and performance analysis tools, troubleshooting, and system integrations. Her specialties cover research and clinical or sport levels measurement tools and applications, along with support for all solutions providing objectifications in movement patterns, techniques, and research / rehabilitation processes.
