Requirements Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in related field qualifies as URMRW2 and will be paid at higher rate. URMRW1 without relevant degree must meet alternative minimum qualifications established by California Department of Social Services. Experience working with immigrant or refugee populations required. (Relevant degrees include, but are not limited to: International/Global Studies, Comparative Religion, and World History). A minimum of 1 year employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents in a social service setting. Additional Requirements: Proficiency in a threshold language preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver's license. Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR. Must be able to understand and follow policy and procedures. Must be able to document services, incidents, and other required forms/documents.
