As a Health and Safety Technician, you will support industrial, construction, and environmental safety programs through field inspections, compliance monitoring, and delivery of in-person safety training and toolbox talks. This role requires a professional who is comfortable leading safety discussions and training sessions for extended periods, often serving as the primary on-site safety representative. This is a developmental role with an emphasis on training and growth, preparing you to perform independent project work within RETTEW's HSE practice.

WORK ENVIRONMENT (IMPORTANT)
This position is approximately 75% field-based and involves regular travel to active construction, industrial, and environmental job sites. Work may include outdoor exposure, uneven terrain, PPE requirements, and extended periods on site.
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a developmental, field-forward role focused on building technical safety expertise while supporting real project work and active job sites. The Health & Safety Field Technician I will receive structured training and mentoring while contributing to safety inspections, compliance monitoring, and field support activities within RETTEW's HSE practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver engaging, in-person safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks, often for multiple hours per day.
- Serve as the on-site safety lead, confidently addressing safety topics such as confined space entry, electrical safety, and job hazard analysis.
- Communicate safety requirements clearly to diverse audiences, including field crews, supervisors, and project leadership.
- Maintain participant engagement during extended safety discussions in active field environments.
- Participate in formal and on-the-job training to develop technical safety and regulatory knowledge.
- Conduct field safety observations, job site audits, and compliance checks.
- Support the implementation of health and safety plans for construction and field projects.
- Communicate safety findings and expectations with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, logs, and reports.
- Provide field support for emergency response activities, industrial hygiene tasks, and site investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Safety, or a closely related safety-focused discipline
- Equivalent experience may be considered when paired with relevant field safety exposure
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates with applicable field or internship experience will be considered
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in outdoor, industrial, and construction environments and travel to job sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Effective verbal communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (required within 90 days of hire; OSHA 30 preferred)
- Prior hands-on experience in construction, industrial, or environmental safety settings
- Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations applicable to field environments

This position is a professional EHS safety leadership opportunity to support our pharma manufacturing client/partner with their Capital project work at their site in the Montgomeryville. PA. area in the greater Philadelphia, PA area. This position is an Owner's Side Construction Safety Assistant Manager/Incident Investigator.
The ideal safety / EHS professional candidate must be well versed in incident investigations, root cause analysis and developing sustainable corrective action plans and capable of meeting tight deadlines and milestones. The role also requires a candidate that demonstrates the ability to coach, mentor and counsel to support, develop and expand the safety culture on client/owner's side projects. Supports a culture of safety, not a “compliance only” culture. Occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of this position will be to assist in the management of the site safety program, lead incident investigations and to promote a “Zero Harm” environment.
Primary Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
Assist with coordinating site safety activities and incident investigations with Global Engineering Solutions (GES) project managers
Lead JSA/SPA program on each of the projects at the site, & review permitting processes on projects
Liaison to the site GSE, Health, Safety and Environment Department as necessary
Formulation & administration of Zero Harm Safety Program. (Safety Observation Reports (SOR), Near Miss, First Aid Reporting) at the site
Monitor and participate in weekly Site Safety meetings for each project
Incident Investigations:
Conduct thorough investigations of safety incidents
Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and document all relevant information
Analyze incident reports, photographs, and other supporting materials
Determine the root causes and contributing factors of incidents
Document investigation findings accurately and objectively
Provide a clear and concise summary of the incident, including timelines and sequence of events
Identify the underlying causes and factors that contributed to the incident
Include recommendations for preventive measures and corrective actions to ensure compliance with Enablon SN09 and GES Incident Investigation and Reporting Requirements
Timely reporting and timely incident investigation resolution. Ensure that all corrective actions are closed out by target dates.
Review injury/incident reports for completeness
Ensure applicable company and regulatory HSE requirements are being met
Oversee safety incentive program for each project
Collaborate with stakeholders
Work closely with project managers, EPCMs, safety officers, and site supervisors during incident investigations.

This individual will serve a key role in leading Langan's health and safety practice including technical aspects through all facets of project lifecycle, management and leadership of technical staff, client relationship management, and business development. Job Responsibilities
Oversee preparation and implementation of health and safety compliance programs and management systems related to OSHA, NFPA, DHS, and other associated programs;
Conduct qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene risk assessments for various industrial operations;
Help develop and implement health and safety and industrial hygiene programs and strategies;
Support the development of IH sampling plans and conduct IH surveys;
Perform risk assessments and audits to verify regulatory compliance and industry best management practices for external industrial and legal clients;
Design and incorporate technical expertise in safety critical environments for projects involving behavioral safety, safety culture and leadership, serious injury and fatality risk reduction, incident learning, and machine safety;
Support clients through incident investigations, litigation support, root cause analysis, development of correction action and then verification of the implemented controls or resolutions from incidents;
Develop engaging health and safety trainings to be regulatory compliant and site specific;
Review and interpret industrial hygiene results as compared to the OSHA, NIOSH, and/or ACGIH standards and provide recommendations to client regarding improvements to their air/noise exposures;
Review and provide regulatory oversite of Department of Homeland Security chemical management requirements and overall management of highly hazardous chemicals;
Conduct and facilitate various hazard analysis techniques such as Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), What-If Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and other relevant risk management techniques/tools;
Provide direct oversight, training, and management of junior staff for specific project assignments;
Lead and/or assist in the preparation of proposals including development of scope and costs;
Manage project budgets and assist in invoicing as project manager;
Interacts with and builds relationships with clients, contractors/subcontractors, and internal practice leaders;
Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service and responsiveness to client needs;
Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines;
Prepare technical documents including reports, plans/programs, permit applications, and other written deliverables; and,
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support projects located throughout the US.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field is required.
8+ years of experience developing, managing, and auditing safety programs and all aspects of project management in a consulting environment is required;
Safety-related professional certification (CSP, ASP, CIH, CHST, etc.) preferred;
Master's Degree preferred;
OSHA 500 and 501 Authorized Outreach Trainer is a plus;
Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a plus;
Knowledge and experience in industrial hygiene is a plus;
Knowledge and experience in DOT and PHMSA is a plus;
Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and projects;
Willingness and ability to identify new client opportunities is required;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

* Report on whether project staff and trade contractors are complying with the Client's safety procedures and are working in accordance with the approved project-specific safety plan.
* Maintain required safety-related documentation on the project site, including, but not limited to, safety orientation training, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), SDSs, pre-task assessments, and toolbox talk summaries.
* Participate in daily pre-shift coordination meetings to include review of the day's activities and associated hazards.
* Review and comment on the General Contractor's JHAs with project trades and obtain signatures prior to commencement of work.
* Conduct daily site inspections, focusing on work site orderliness and compliance with safety procedures and protocols. Proposed corrections of safety deviations will be discussed with the General Contractor's Safety Manager, and support will be provided for implementing corrective actions.
* Issue daily site observation reports for each site inspection.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety, or occupational health and safety, or a related degree preferred.
* 3+ years of on-site experience in construction-specific project health & safety.
* Certification in the field: CHST, ASP, and/or CSP are preferred.
* Pharmaceutical or high-tech project experience is highly desired.
* Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry and construction standards.

Job Description
Job Title: Drug Safety Coordinator I
Duration: 6 Months+
Location : Horsham, PA
Summary:
Responsible for the receipt and data entry of adverse event reports following Company Standard Operating Procedures, internal business practices and regulatory guidance documents to ensure compliance with worldwide
safety regulations and corporate policies.
Description:
• Case Registry/Entry: The preparation of a case, from receipt to initial assignment in the database.
• Activities include:
• Retrieval of cases from incoming faxes, files and/or electronic case receipt system, as applicable
• Creation of transmittal form and/or electronic documentation of key information, as applicable
• Liaison with Case Processing staff, to clarify information
• Clarification of unclear or illegible information with LSO, Call Centre, etc
• Conducting duplicate searches to determine if case is initial or follow-up
• Creation of case file (paper or electronic)
• Registry of case to complete basic data entry registry fields
• Assignment of MFR/AER number
• Send case numbers to LSOs/Call Centre, etc., as applicable
Case Processing: The completion of case information in the database,
culminating in Quality Review to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Activities include:
• Completion of remaining case data entry, including narrative or autonarrative for non-serious cases, as required
• Completion of transmittal form, if applicable
• Request deletions/edits, as necessary
• Processes and Procedures: Understand and follow GMS systems and procedures.
• Activities include:
• Completion of all assigned training on company and GMS procedural documents relating to case receipt/processing
• Completion of training for relevant PV Agreements for assigned products
• Provide assistance in supporting revision/creation of case receipt procedural documents
GMS Interfaces
• Frequent operational and project related contact with staff in GMS Operations (all functional groups), Occasional contact with GMS & GMS Operations, Quality Systems, PV Sciences (esp.PVPs), Strategic Planning (Compliance Standards and Alliance, SBPO, TPT, Regions), and Legal.
• Customer Interfaces
• Frequent operational and project related contact with relevant staff in assigned customer sector (Pharma/Consumer), including e.g. LSOs, clinical and regulatory affairs personnel, and Call Center personnel.
• Internal and external IT/IM partners - occasional project related contact.
• RDQA Partners - internal audit and inspection related contact.
• 3rd party partners - as required in support of products assigned to team.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification/ Experience Required:
• regulations and regulatory guidelines, contractual agreements, product-specific information and database/systems functionality.
• Communication of questions clearly and concisely to the appropriate audience, providing possible solutions where appropriate
• High School graduate in the US
• Education to GCSE level in the UK
• Previous office experience desired
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred, with a focus on pharmaceutical safety related areas. Drug safety experience is desired.
• Knowledge and experience with safety reporting and regulatory compliance, and experience of international safety reporting/regulations are preferred.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to sort, index and transmit fax/electronic documents
• Good computer skills (Word, Email) and familiarity with safety systems
• Data entry experience
• Ability to work independently and accountability for delivery of results

WORK ENVIRONMENT (IMPORTANT)
This position is approximately 75% field-based and involves regular travel to active construction, industrial, and environmental job sites. Work may include outdoor exposure, uneven terrain, PPE requirements, and extended periods on site.
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a developmental, field-forward role focused on building technical safety expertise while supporting real project work and active job sites. The Health & Safety Field Technician I will receive structured training and mentoring while contributing to safety inspections, compliance monitoring, and field support activities within RETTEW's HSE practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver engaging, in-person safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks, often for multiple hours per day.
* Serve as the on-site safety lead, confidently addressing safety topics such as confined space entry, electrical safety, and job hazard analysis.
* Communicate safety requirements clearly to diverse audiences, including field crews, supervisors, and project leadership.
* Maintain participant engagement during extended safety discussions in active field environments.
* Participate in formal and on-the-job training to develop technical safety and regulatory knowledge.
* Conduct field safety observations, job site audits, and compliance checks.
* Support the implementation of health and safety plans for construction and field projects.
* Communicate safety findings and expectations with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
* Prepare and maintain safety documentation, logs, and reports.
* Provide field support for emergency response activities, industrial hygiene tasks, and site investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Safety, or a closely related safety-focused discipline
* Equivalent experience may be considered when paired with relevant field safety exposure
* Up to 2 years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates with applicable field or internship experience will be considered
* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
* Ability to work in outdoor, industrial, and construction environments and travel to job sites
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
* Effective verbal communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED
* OSHA 10-Hour Certification (required within 90 days of hire; OSHA 30 preferred)
