Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience and completion of a nursing assistant course. One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting beneficial or previous work experience in a post-acute care setting or nursing home beneficial. Prior listing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required with current registry recommended. For Float, Palliative Care Unit (PCU), Home Health, and Hospice - Current CNA registry required. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. Material Handler Duties & Responsibilities * Opening product, feeding cheese onto cutting equipment and changing and adjusting cutting equipment. * Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF and established safety rules and regulations. * Moving pallets, basic cleanup/sweeping and assisting other positions as needed. * Ability to pack cheese product into boxes, stack boxes on pallets and inspect packages and boxes for good seals and code dates. * Understand and utilize box erecting, case sealing, and labeling equipment. * Perform sanitation of the work area and equipment as needed. Bulk Hauler Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Individual will be responsible for identifying, recording, counting and movement of product in the bulk preparation area. * Must be comfortable working with numbers, able to read production documents, have good accuracy in basic math, plus neat and legible penmanship is essential. * Prior ability to safely operate a forklift is helpful but not essential, will train if necessary. * Must be physically capable of heavy lifting and will be exposed to cooler temperatures * Individual must have a strong math background and be able to comprehend and understand the bar coding and confirmation system. * The applicant must possess a high degree of safety awareness, positive attitude and ability to work in a team concept. * Must be dependable, have a certain degree of flexibility work overtime, and be able to work Saturdays and Sundays when needed. * Other reasonable requests by supervision Knowledge/Skills Required * Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations. * Must be able to give and accept constructive criticism and work as a team player. * Responsible for maintaining a professional image with customers, peers, supervisors and the public. * Good organizational and communication skills. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred . Education beyond High School would be a plus. Forklift experience is desirable. Prior manufacturing and/or packaging experience would also be a plus. Working Conditions Work inside a clean manufacturing environment. Required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally. This job posting is meant to give an overview of the available position.
