As CEO, Hassan Ahmed is responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations and for setting its strategic direction. Prior to starting Affirmed Networks, Hassan was most recently Senior Advisor at Charles River Ventures. Hassan served as Chairman and CEO of Sonus Networks (Nasdaq:SONS) for ten years during which time it grew from an idea into the leading public company enabling the transformation of telephony to IP. Before Sonus, he was EVP and GM of the Core Switching division of Ascend Communications and VP Engineering and Chief Technology Officer of Cascade Communications. Hassan has also held key leadership positions at Motorola and Analog Devices. He was also Associate Professor of Electrical Computer and Systems Engineering and Associate Professor of Finance at Boston University. Additionally, he has guest lectured at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

Sinclair was the founder and CEO of $56MM venture backed enterprise platform company Apprenda (acquired by Atos) and a well known industry thought leader. Sinclair is a former software engineer at Morgan Stanley with expertise in cloud, OSS and distributed systems.
