Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: * Complete operational analysis, corridor studies, traffic studies, innovative intersection implementation, traffic calming, and safety analysis; * Bicycle/pedestrian/multi-modal feasibility, analysis, design, and implementation; * Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizes computers in order to solve problems; * Perform research and writes objective summary reports which are used in the completion of the project work; * Assist in the preparation of engineering planning schedules and cost estimates * Complete field observation, inspection, and data collection dutie * Communicate with client staff and internal design team; and * Communicate results/recommendations to the general public.
