The Cargo Handler is responsible for ensuring warehouse duties assignments are finalized within the allocated period as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor/ Lead Cargo Handler. The Cargo Handler is assigned duties in the Miami Warehouse from cargo acceptance, build-up, breakdown, scanning, tie-down, and other functions assigned by management, including our Cooler operation.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that pallets are properly built according to the contour of the aircraft on which the pallet is being transported.
Ensure the ULD used is not built to over its weight capacity rating.
Ensure the pallet is within FAA regulations to be used on our aircraft.
Maintain Serviceability of Facility Equipment (Forklift, Scales, Scanners).
Utilize forklift equipment to properly stack cargo onto the pallet.
Assure the security and safety of personnel and freight.
Maintain the cleanness of the facility and equipment.
Report damages and discrepancies for claims, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
Cross-training based on operation needs Cargo Acceptance, Buildup, Tie-Down, Scanning, Breakdown, Staging, and all ways of handling freight.
Complete required receiving reports and resolve uncomplicated problems to ensure cargo can be shipped.
Receive and record shipment data, including weight and dimensions.
Examine all documents to ensure accuracy for articles being received.
Input required data such as shipper's name, consignee, weight, and dimensions into an automated system and produce Warehouse Receipt for items being shipped.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Knowledge and Skills Class A commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Two years of CDL driving experience with hazmat and safe record.
Maintain qualification to drive as mandated by the Department of Transportation.
Thorough understanding of hazardous materials pick-up and delivery procedures.
Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations with an emphasis on the Hazardous Materials section of the regulations.
Must be able to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays. The fuel transportation business is 24/7/365.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time driving.
Must be able to bend, lift, carry, connect, disconnect, mount, and dismount heavy pieces of equipment (i.e. commercial grade fuel delivery hoses) and without creating a safety hazard.
Maintain authorization to load and unload product at facilities we conduct business with once authorized in the training process.

GENERAL
The primary responsibility of the Truck Driver is drive to places of business and other locations to load and transport electronic material back to the warehouse for further processing. The Truck Driver will interact with business customers while out on location and work to ensure excellent customer service is provided. The Truck Driver will report directly to the Assistant Manager and occasionally directly to the General Manger.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Other:
Six months related work experience performing truck driving and/or material distribution in an industrial setting preferred.
Sufficient math skills as measured by Agency normed tests to perform duties involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, simple fractions, calculation of percentages, weigh counting and linear measurement.
Reading skills sufficient to follow and/or complete written instructions, behavioral programs, memos, purchase orders, and shippers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Stack, consolidate and package electronic material for loading onto truck.
Utilize liftgate to load electronic material onto the truck.
Drive 26ft box truck in order to transport materials.
Load and unload delivery trucks using pallet jack, power jack and forklift.
Check incoming and outgoing materials against shippers to verify quantity and quality. Count, weigh, and record quantity of raw, in process, or finished materials.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental conditions:

Ability to work in a confined area.
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
Physical requirements:
