S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is looking for a Senior Associate to join our Audit and Assurance Services Group. As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with and lead the engagement team to audit the financial statements of our clients, which may include financial institutions (including SEC-registrants), employee benefit plans, manufacturing, construction, or a variety of other clients.
This is a full-time position which requires an average of 45 hours per week, with additional hours as needed, especially in busy season (55-60 hours per week). Snodgrass is currently hybrid, which means that employees work at the direction of their team either in the office, at clients, or at home; a typical week is a blend of these locations and new employees generally have a minimum number of days in office for training purposes.
Responsibilities of the Role May Include:

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Capital Adequacy to join our Finance team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Assists with research, data gathering, calculations, Quantitative Analytics and forecasting related to the execution of regulatory testing (CCAR, ICAAP, etc.) and risk planning for the firm's capital adequacy.
Contributes to the determination of impacts of regulatory forecasts on income statements, balance sheets and capital actions in order to confirm quarterly minimums are met.
Provides broad support to senior analysts while building knowledge of more advanced capital adequacy activities/concepts.
With some direction, populates and runs models and stress tests for assigned regulatory reporting requirement(s) related to capital adequacy (e.g., CCAR, ICAAP, etc.).
Documents inputs, assumptions and results.
Reviews work with more experienced professionals for accuracy.
Assists with research, data gathering and quarterly capital adequacy calculations for submission to regulators or as inputs into models/forecasts/stress tests.
Checks calculations ensure compliance with rules set by the regulator(s) or internal Bank standards.
Build relationships with peers in the businesses, Risk Management, Finance and Corporate Treasury to ensure efficient collection of data/model inputs.

DESCRIPTION:
The Team is seeking candidates, preferably with previous experience at investment banks, consulting firms, private equity firms, or private equity fund of funds for a Senior Associate position on our Private Equity Solutions team, focused on fund investments (primaries), direct investments (co-investing), and LP secondaries investments.
Investment professionals at the Senior Associate level work closely with senior investment professionals on 4-5 person deal teams and are responsible for investment analysis, research, and investment process management. The private markets program spans asset classes from venture capital to leveraged buyouts and special situations. The position is available in suburban Philadelphia and travel is entailed on up to 40% of assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage investment sourcing, opportunity diligence and evaluation, and portfolio monitoring by reviewing inbound investment materials, meeting with private equity fund managers, and assessing performance of specific companies and funds
Structure and lead research on a wide range of geographies, industries, companies, and macroeconomic trends
Direct junior investment staff in the creation and execution of financial analyses in support of the investment process (e.g., comparable company valuation analyses, LBO models, investment return projections with sensitivity analyses, track record analyses)
Lead strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams related to technology, data/systems, marketing, business development, sourcing, and business planning
QUALIFICATIONS:
An undergraduate degree from a leading university. MBA from a leading business school a plus
3-5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, equity research, and/or management consulting. Primaries, co-investment, and/or secondaries experience is a plus
Highly motivated self-starter with a team orientation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Extensive quantitative modeling experience with an excellent understanding of financial concepts and valuation
Exceptional project management and execution skills with an ability to meet challenging deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
A high level of intellectual curiosity in developing knowledge of private equity and capital markets
