    Department Neo-Natal ICU *Join our Dynamic Nursing Team* For more than 30 years, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Sarasota Campus has cared for critically ill newborns and the smallest premature babies. The only Level III intensive care nursery in the area, our NICU is equipped with the latest technology and multi-disciplinary specialists to provide advanced life support and around-the-clock specialty care and monitoring. A special affiliation with Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital ensures access to the full spectrum of neonatal and pediatric specialties. Family-centered care - Despite the high-tech operations at work in our NICU, the care we provide is purely family-centered, meaning all of our efforts revolve around your family. We encourage parents to spend as much time as possible with their babies, and provide accommodations, such as visiting lounges, and rooms for overnight stays and family visiting. Developmental care - We encourage families to take an active role in the care of their infants. Cuddling preemies skin-to-skin is the best thing a parent can do for their baby! During your time in the NICU, our neonatal nurses and physicians will teach you everything you need to know to care for your little one at home, and will celebrate with you every milestone in their development. Family Resource Navigation - First 1,000 Days Suncoast provides connection with free and low-cost services during pregnancy and families with children 3 and under that include: Child Development, Mental Health, Medical Care, Childcare and more. Job Details: This is a full time opportunity for experienced NICU Registered Nurses with minimally two years of NICU experience. Unit shift hours are 6:00 PM- 6:30 AM. Weekends, holidays and mandatory on call shifts are required. NRP certification within 90 days of employment required. Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. Salary Details: Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $34.10, max of salary range is $52.80. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.
