Job Summary
This position directs the daily activities of store team members in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Night Manager during assigned shifts. The CrewLeader is responsible for store operations by opening and closing the store when scheduled, protecting store property and funds, and monitoring employee performance during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
Responsible for opening and closing the store according to established procedures
Directs and monitors the day-to-day activities of full time/part time store team members
Communicates with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
Resolves customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds
Conducts front end administrative procedures, including cash counting, till preparation, cash drops, cash pick-ups, and verification of cash tills.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent required
Comprehensive product knowledge and the ability to train other meat team members
Previous training / supervisory experience a plus
Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug test.

Operations
Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
Assists with and coaches other team members to work with warehouse and vendor ordering process as the orders are created, reviewed, and received, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
Responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
Assists manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions on order release day and assists in reverse logistics (e.g., 1506, returns, empty package).
Assists manager or assistant store manager in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Completes resets and revisions.
Maintains accurate inventory counts; maintains the accuracy of on‑hand quantities including, but not limited to, basic departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
Assist with ensuring the Outdate program is followed with team members.
Responsible for basic department pricing and making daily price changes; ensures proper signage is displayed at the store to support accurate pricing of products. Ensures any additional pricing tasks related to local regulations and/or regulatory compliance programs are completed accurately and within the required time frame.
Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash report, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment as necessary or as requested.
Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, including requesting store or system repairs as required in manager absence, or as requested by manager.
Assists with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre‑cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). For consumable items, assists in stock rotation, using the first in, first out method and restock outs.
Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
Assist at Pharmacy out window as requested.
Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
Responsible for bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
Communications
Serves as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks to team members when store management is not present.
Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer the knowledge of store inventory control.

Essential Functions:
Split and stock all freight from all freight trucks.
Maintain and control an organized backroom.

Job Summary

Guiding and assisting ACE members with performing biological projects/surveys as needed and assists in collecting inventory data.

Collecting ecological and timber-related forest metrics to develop timber-harvest prescriptions

A flexible work schedule may be required, which could involve work performed outside of normal work hours including on weekends and/or holidays. Position Benefits
Living Allowance: The ACE Member is expected to contribute ~40 hours/week and will receive a living allowance of $850/week to offset the costs of food and incidental expenses, dispersed bi-weekly.
Public Land Corps Hiring Authority: Members serving under this agreement may be eligible for a federal hiring authority upon completion of their term of service and 640 hours of service. If the duration of a PLC-eligible term is not long enough for Members to accrue 640 hours of service (~16 weeks), the total hours served at the completion of the term may be eligible to be combined with hours accrued from another PLC-eligible term to meet the 640 hours requirement. PLC projects also include specific eligibility requirements such as age and citizenship. Housing: ACE members will be accommodated in provided FWS housing at no cost for the duration of the term.
Gear Reimbursement: ACE members will have up to $200 to spend on eligible gear purchases. Eligible gear for this position includes boots, sturdy pants, socks, outerwear, etc., and must be approved by ACE staff prior to purchase.
Provided Training/Orientation: ACE members will receive position specific training and an orientation outlining ACE policies and procedures, clear guidance on prohibited activities, and networks for support. Specific training may include chainsaw or ATV/UTV use.
Qualifications
Required:
Members must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident, as required by U.S. government contracts
Willing and able to represent ACE and the partner organization in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner.
Ability to be both self-directed/work alone, and be a positive, contributing member of a group.
A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record (documentation to be provided upon request). Members must be 21+ to drive due to ACE's insurance and liability requirements.
Willing to undergo and must pass the required criminal history checks
Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
ACE Members will need to complete bi-weekly timesheets, beginning of term feedback forms, end of term evaluations and for longer terms, a mid-term evaluation.

Preferred:
Competitive applicants for this position can hold or be pursuing a bachelor's degree and/or have relevant experience in forestry, wildlife management, or other relevant subject areas such as ecology or natural resource management.
Previous experience or a strong interest in learning about forestry procedures/policies, habitat management, and/or wildlife management.
Ability to identify plants and distinguish invasive plants from native plants and willingness to learn
Ability and willingness to acquire a state pesticide applicator's license which requires a standardized test. (You will be provided time to prepare and study for the exam)
Ability to work to work independently or a team, and accept guidance from supervisors and other refuge staff
Willingness to work in field conditions which will include insects, heat, humidity, rain, etc.

Ability to hike over rough terrain, and camp overnight under field conditions.

Requires close, distance, peripheral and depth perception vision as well as the ability to focus.

: Frequently moves up to 40 lbs., ability to move up to 50 pounds.
Environmental:
Outdoor and indoor conditions. Work environment conditions can change frequently; working under adverse weather conditions and in various climates.
Noise Environment
: Moderate to high noise such as gas-powered chainsaws and other hand and power tools. Moderate noise such as in a business office with equipment and light traffic.
Travel:
This position may require frequent domestic travel.
Environmental Conditions/Hazards: The ACE member(s) may encounter environmental conditions/hazards including extreme heat or cold, rocky terrain, swamp or wetland conditions, biting insects, and potentially dangerous wildlife. Application and mixing of herbicides will be a requirement of this position. The member is expected to conduct duties in a safe and orderly manner so as not to endanger self, fellow staff/members or resources.
Vehicle and Equipment Use/Safety: If a vehicle is required for the accomplishment of the duties, one will be provided by the FWS or ACE. Any tools required for the accomplishment of the duties will be provided by the FWS. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), typically provided by the FWS, will be mandatory for any activity that requires it. Strict adherence to FWS and ACE equipment training, certification and safety protocols is required.

Job Summary
This position directs the daily activities of store team members in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Night Manager during assigned shifts. The CrewLeader is responsible for store operations by opening and closing the store when scheduled, protecting store property and funds, and monitoring employee performance during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities

Communicates with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
Resolves customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds
Conducts front end administrative procedures, including cash counting, till preparation, cash drops, cash pick-ups, and verification of cash tills.

High School diploma or equivalent required
Comprehensive product knowledge and the ability to train other meat team members
Previous training / supervisory experience a plus
Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug test.
