Job Summary:
The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) is seeking a Law Intern to support the Governor's Regulatory Review Council (GRRC) in its core business processes. The extern will assist with tasks such as reviewing rulemaking submissions, conducting legal research, supporting preparations for monthly Council meetings and and potentially presenting at those meetings. This position provides a valuable opportunity for law students to gain hands-on experience in Arizona's rulemaking process and professional development in legal research, writing, and communication.

Job Duties:
Assist Council staff in reviewing rulemaking and five-year review report submissions
Conduct legal research and draft related documents
Prepare materials and support monthly Council Meetings
Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by GRRC staff

Strong knowledge of legal research and writing techniques
Ability to research statutes and navigate the Arizona Administrative Code

The team is seeking an undergraduate student intern that will work as part of a team performing compositional analysis on a wide variety of biomass-derived samples. The samples are derived from a wide variety of laboratory experiments producing biofuels and biomaterials including fermentation, heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, and polymer deconstruction. Reliable compositional analysis data form the foundation of the world class science that NLR produces.

**Specific duties for this role will include but may not be limited to:**
+ Assisting senior team members in the preparation of samples for instrumental analysis

How to qualify
Minimum Qualifications
Education: At the time of submitting application, you must be enrolled in an accredited university or a community college in the following related fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Architecture, Architectural Technology, Architectural Engineering, Planning, Urban Planning, City Planning, Regional Planning, Computer Science/Information Services Program, Cybersecurity Program, Cloud Security, Digital Forensics, Geographical Information Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, Mathematics, Biology, Natural Resources, Environmental Horticulture.
You must be returning to your associate, undergraduate or graduate program or entering/continuing a graduate program in Fall 2026.
Students enrolled in second-to-last or last semester and will soon graduate are also encouraged to apply.
You can still apply if you are in your second-to-last or last semester, as you may still be selected for the program within six months of graduation.
Experience:
No previous experience is necessary. However, previous internship experience may be used to determine the possible level of classification for which you are hired.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Clearance:
Candidates for employment with the San Francisco Airport Commission are required to undergo a criminal history record check, including FBI fingerprints, and Security Threat Assessment in order to determine eligibility for security clearance and may be required to undergo drug/alcohol screening. Customs Clearance:
This position requires that the incumbent be qualified for unescorted access to the San Francisco International Airport U.S. Customs Security Area. Paid internships are available for students interested in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Internship opportunities are available in home, community and employment settings. Specific duties and responsibilities vary depending on the individual supported and where support services are provided.
Interns must be 18 or older and enrolled in an educational program. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required. Interns must complete all agency required trainings. Training includes online modules and 16 hours direct supervision from a Program Manager/Mentor.
