The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They must demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.

As part of the Safety & Security team, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment across the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and all Penske Entertainment properties. From securing gates and patrolling facilities to assisting guests and responding to incidents, your work helps ensure that every event - from daily operations to the Indy 500 - runs smoothly and safely.
You'll monitor buildings and grounds, identify potential safety concerns, and support law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Patrol and monitor Penske Entertainment properties to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, guests, and assets.
Inspect gates, buildings, and grounds to identify and address potential safety or security risks.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring quick resolution and clear communication.
Enforce company policies and procedures with professionalism, providing direction and support to guests and staff.
Maintain detailed and accurate activity and incident reports to support effective follow-up and documentation.
Control facility access by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel, vendors, and visitors.
Partner with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed to manage safety incidents.
Prevent unauthorized removal or damage to company property through proactive monitoring and presence.

Flex Officer Explanation
The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company's operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.
Scheduling Expectations
The scheduling parameters and expectations for a flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a flex:
You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week's schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. ROLE(S) - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - REQUIREMENTS
School Police Officer
Summary:
School Police Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety of students, staff, and visitors while fostering positive relationships with the school community. Officers provide crime prevention, emergency response, and investigative support to maintain a safe and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build rapport with students and staff, serving as a positive role model.
* Utilize alternatives to arrest and de-escalation techniques to promote positive student outcomes.
* Patrol school buildings and grounds, ensuring a visible security presence.
* Respond to emergency situations, disturbances, and security concerns in a timely manner.
* Conduct investigations into incidents occurring on school property, preparing reports as necessary.
* Assist with bus duty, field trips, and school events, ensuring student safety.
* Participate in school safety planning, collaborating with administrators and community stakeholders.
* Maintain confidentiality of reports, records, and sensitive information.
* Attend required training and professional development to enhance policing strategies within schools.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Previous law enforcement experience and experience working with youth preferred, but not required.
* Must meet Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board physical fitness requirements upon arrival at the academy.
* Must hold or be able to obtain Indiana Law Enforcement Certification.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, think critically, and de-escalate conflicts.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust within the school community.
* Must be available for various shifts, including school events, evenings, and weekends as needed.
