The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary. * Completes meal procedures by receiving food carts from kitchen, ensuring meals are at appropriate serving temperature, identifying inmates with special diets, introduces trays into cells, ensuring each tray is complete, retrieving trays, spoons and cups from cells, performing a spoon count and sending utensils back to kitchen.
* Conducts security checks by walking exterior catwalk, inspecting bars, windows, screens, locks and doors, performing walks in cells and checking locks and windows in hallways.
* Performs routine searches of inmates and housing areas by performing strip searches, conducting pat searches and conducting cell searches.
* Responds to emergencies by arriving on the scene of an emergency, separating, restraining or evacuating inmates in the affected areas, conducting initial investigation of the incident, notifying appropriate personnel and providing detailed reports to the supervisor.
* Processes incoming subjects by fingerprinting, searching, and completing necessary forms during the booking process and photographing; supervises the phone calls made by inmates and subjects being booked, and inventorying and storing personal properties.
* Prepares and maintains documents and reports including daily progress reports, booking reports, property reports, medical forms, activity sheets, released sheets, medical and phone logs, jail and court lists, head count forms, time sheets, receipts, incident reports, and computer release dates.
* Operate within the correctional facility system to keep record of everyone admitted to or released from the correctional facility.
* Performs related work as required.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training.
Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for this position
Physical Demands:
* Performs light to medium work that involves walking or standing virtually all of the time and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or skill, adeptness and speed in the use of the fingers, hands or limbs on repetitive operation of mechanical or electronic office or shop machines or tools within moderate tolerances or limits of accuracy.

Inspect, service, install, perform maintenance on fire alarm and/or security systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Nature of Position
This position reports to the Security Alarm Manager or their designated Agent. The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of security alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.

When hired, the Technician will:
+ Manage their time to complete the maximum amount of service, inspection, and installation calls while maintaining a high level of quality.
+ Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Security Alarm Manager or designated Agent.
+ Learn applicable codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
+ Protect and maintain company equipment.
+ Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
+ Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.
+ Perform any other tasks assigned by the Security Alarm Manager or Agent.
Job Qualifications
+ Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
+ Ability to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing code.

+ Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
+ Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

**Nature of Position**
This position reports to the Security Alarm Manager or their designated Agent. The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of security alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. To qualify as an applicant for an Entry Level Police Officer position with the City of Waco Police Department, the applicant must meet all requirements of the Waco Local Rules and Waco Meet & Confer Agreement:
* An applicant for a beginning position must serve a 12-month probationary period after being commissioned as a Peace Office.
* An applicant for a beginning position must take an eligibility exam.
* An applicant for a beginning position must successfully pass the TCOLE certification within 12 months of passing the eligibility exam.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under close supervision, attends training from Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) and Waco Police Department (WPD) to obtain Basic Peace Officers License and certification.
PRIMARY DUTIES:

Be willing to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background report to include fingerprints. Must have a clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses
Must have experience and knowledge of security operations
Must have experience with basic force protection
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be medically fit and undergo medical testing
Must pass a Physical Ability Test (to include - run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 pushups in two minutes). This is strictly enforced, and exceptions or waivers will not be allowed
Must be willing to undergo random drug testing upon request
Regular working hours are 48 hours per week. Due to the nature of the proposed employment, the employee may work on different schedules on different days of the week as assigned by a supervisor and may also be required to work additional hours beyond scheduled time
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
