Job Overview: The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure working environment for their assigned shift. Acts as the onsite security lead, using professional judgement and independent decision-making to oversee all security operations during the shift. Core responsibilities include supervising in-house and third-party security, all matters related to physical security, asset protection, emergency and law enforcement response, de-escalation of stressful situations, and taking a concierge security approach for all departments operating within the fulfillment center. The Public Safety Officer I is responsible for the safety of University students, staff and faculty members, visitors, and the campus and property of the University. Officers engage in proactive patrol, respond to calls for service, provide security at designated posts, provide shuttle service and medical escort transportation, enforce University policies including parking policies, and document incidents occurring on campus and/or involving members of the La Salle Community. The Security Specialist is responsible for performing security and safety functions within a cannabis cultivation facility. As a Security Specialist, you are responsible for providing critical security and administrative support to management. Security Specialists may be cross-trained and asked to support other departments occasionally to meet business needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Check in all employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries. * Ensure all visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers sign in on the sign-in sheet. * Scan IDs and provide temporary badges to visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers. * Maintain all hard copy and digital logs of scanned IDs, sign-in sheets, and all facility logs. * Provide general support to visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers. * Review surveillance video of events and create/maintain event logs from all security systems. * Create new badge access cards for new employees, visitors, and vendors. * Alert management for required support on all security systems-skyline cameras, Strat security/fire alarms, and internet connectivity. * Coordinate delivery schedules and outgoing office shipments with management. * Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws. * Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). * Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas. * Immediately inform Security Manager of any system discrepancies. * Document all activity using company's track and trace system. * Work within company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity. * Check in and check out all van keys for drivers. * Give all cash to Human Resources or appropriate party for accounting. * Schedule weekly armored vehicle pickups for cash deposits from order fulfillment. * Ensure door is locked during any time cash is out. * Coordinate with corporate's finance department to ensure all cash is accounted for. * Accept cash from all delivery drivers on every delivery and store in safe. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES * Security monitoring, patrol and respond to security problems. * Provide direct contact to the public at the main entrance and check identification of visitors entering the schools. * Positively represent the school and provide general assistance/information to visitors. * Monitor district buildings and grounds to protect against illegal entry, acts of violence, vandalism, illegal drug activity, arson, and theft. * Conduct regular inspection of windows, doors, and other at assigned point of entry to ensure that they are secure. * Monitor school grounds to observe unauthorized persons of vehicles, parking violations, and overall security of the outside area including exterior lighting and emergency access routes. * Detain unauthorized persons; call for administrative and/or police assistance in accordance with the district's security plan/crisis management plan. * Participate in the district's/school's emergency and crisis management plan as assigned. * Notify police, fire department, or other appropriate authority of any situation requiring immediate attention. * Accompany students to the main office when needed.

Cardinal Point Security Group is building a team of Security Officers who will facilitate a safe learning environment and keep students, staff, and faculty safe from violence. Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM This is a 10-month position. Schedule includes normal school hours, occasional after-school events, with summers off. Be consistent Coach and mentor students Incident Management and de-escalation Maintains orderly flow of foot traffic in the hallways Monitors restrooms throughout the day Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel Walks up to 10,000 steps per day to patrol school facilities and grounds to prevent access to restricted areas, theft, or vandalism Stands for up to four hours per day Act as First responder for emergencies Stands post at secondary locations as required Identify and report suspicious activity Cultivate positive relationships with staff and students Access Control Monitor CCTV Basic Qualifications: Graduate from Municipal Police Officer Education Training Commission's Police Academy, OR State Police Academy Retired or honorably separated Municipal Police Officer or State Trooper Current clearances as required by the laws of Pennsylvania (24 P.S. § 1-111) weapons use/baton use/restrain procedures. Must possess a valid PA Act 235 Certification. Must possess a valid PA Concealed Carry Permit Must possess your own firearm. Must be able to pass the SPO MPOETC Firearms Qualification High School diploma or GED Consent to a drug screen. Must be willing to obtain Act 168, Child Abuse, PA State Criminal History and PDE FBI Clearances as required by the Child Protective Services Law and PA School Code. Able to work well under pressure. No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude. Reliable means of communication (active cell phone with mobile email access). Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written). Reliable means of transportation. Must possess a customer focused, professional, and courteous demeanor. Clean driving record with no at fault accidents for last 10 years. Preferred Qualifications: School security experience and Act 67 Certification. CPR/First Aid Certification.
