2nd Shift Security Officer
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a 2nd Shift Security Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment for guests and associates on company property, patrol and provide security for Kalahari property, enforce laws and company policies, and deter illegal activities from city, state and federal violators.

You'll maintain a safe workplace and secure environment for guests, while also enabling team members to perform their duties with confidence and peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities
Check in with the shift supervisor and/or manager-on-duty on arrival, review security logs and reports daily.
Patrol all lobbies, floors, common areas, associate areas, basement, and grounds of Kalahari Resorts.
If an incident requires a report or a statement, complete the necessary paperwork, and advise the shift supervisor or manager-on-duty when finished.
Provide the utmost in confidentiality with every action taken, verbally and written to protect the rights of guests, associates, and Kalahari Resorts.
What We're Looking For
Level 2 Security License is required.
CPR / AED Certification
Previous law enforcement or military preferred but not required.
General working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws.
Hotel or Resort experience is preferred.
Must be able to write, read, and speak English as a first language. Bi-lingual skills are helpful but not required.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Security Specialist to join an embedded travel security team within a global tech client. A detect, deter, observe and report posture will be utilized by all Driftwood Security Officers. Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe residential and working environment for all members, guests and employees by identifying, treating, and reducing workplace risks.
Providing a seemly entry for all authorized individuals into property.
Preventing unauthorized access to the property and use of its facilities.
Providing a medical response capability to members, guests and employees while on club property, or engaged in any club-facilitated activity at any other geographic location in and around the property.
Providing a fire response capability to all structures inside the community.
Providing emergency management advice in the event of a natural disaster event
Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Enforce the club's health and safety policies to all members, guests, and employees.
Maintaining the personal “concierge” security approach for all members, guests, and employees while on property.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in military, law enforcement or private security equivalents. Only applicants that were discharged or separated from service on honorable terms will be considered. (Former military must provide DD-214 and former law enforcement must be able to provide F-5)
Prior experience and training with relevant firearms and defensive tactics.
Valid Driver's License.
Clear Criminal Background.
Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high duress situations.
Additional Requirements
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Security Specialist to join an embedded travel security team within a global tech client. In this role, you will assist the client in helping to protect their business travelers through global travel risk monitoring, analyze threats to mobile assets, conduct comprehensive on-the-ground security assessments, manage scenario and crisis planning, and optimize escalation processes. Your primary focus will be the Americas with the requirement to cover and travel to other regions as needed.
The role will involve up to 50% travel, including to medium and high-risk destinations. You will be responsible for managing security vendors, conceptualizing and delivering innovative projects to improve the travel security function, and producing high-quality briefings.
This is a hybrid role with standard hours of 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, requiring to work at the client's Austin office three days per week. There may be occasional need to work out-of-hours during emergencies and time-sensitive matters.
