Please use below info as a reference for the environment: Under general direction of the designated Manager, evaluates and designs existing or proposed systems to structure and access databases. Implements and integrates new information into existing systems or recommends installation of new systems. Supports all Client/Server database environments. Implements logical data models to physical structures on SQL Server. Installs necessary triggers, stored procedures, and business logic. Performs database backup and recovery. Performs database and application performance/tuning. Prepares and manages multiple server environments. Provides support and implements migrations across environments. Provides technical support for ongoing maintenance and upgrades for all Client/Server related software. Provides technical expertise and ongoing education for all Client/Server related software. Manages and troubleshoots SQL server in a clustered environment. Analyzes technical systems specifications received from project managers and programming associates and translates data into efficient, functional database designs. Develops, tests and executes diagnostics and disaster recovery plans in order to safeguard the integrity of the database. Analyzes current database information and recommends methods to improve performance of the database. Creates databases for building and testing the applications; investigates and corrects problems relative to these databases. May provide 24 hour on-call production support. Performs related duties as assigned. Ability to prepare and implement database standards and procedures across multiple environments Strong knowledge of stored procedures and triggers Good analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply applications knowledge to identify appropriate solutions Demonstrated knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures Good interpersonal skills; effective team player Exceptional customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
