We are currently looking to hire a SeniorManager, Operations External Manufacturing!
We're looking for an experienced SeniorManager of External Manufacturing to join the Horizon Organic Dairy LLC team, the chosen individual will oversee all operations with our external manufacturing partners across the West (4 fluid milk co-manufacturing facilities) and adjacencies (4 co-manufacturing facilities: a whole milk powdering facility, butter production, and two cheese production facilities). This role is responsible for ensuring that our external manufacturers deliver with excellence across SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery). In addition, the chosen candidate will own the full network optimization strategy for their territory and champion all new external manufacturer qualifications including ownership of timely execution of our network optimization strategy which has us existing a sizable existing co-manufacturer (4 facilities, 1 of which is included in this scope).
This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite in Broomfield, CO.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Accountable for all manufacturing qualifications, ensuring the timely exit of HOD from an existing co-manufacturing partner.
Champion cross-functional project teams (Procurement, PMO, Quality, R&D, Finance, Brand) assigned to each initiative ensuring excellence in execution and timely delivery of desired outcomes executing our network optimization strategy.
Own operational management of all our external manufacturing partners across the West for fluid and for all adjacencies co-manufacturing.
Set clear operational success criteria across Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery for each external manufacturing partner
Track performance and ensure corrective actions are identified and executed to achieve excellence from our external manufacturing partners.
Collaborate closely with the Horizon operations team (Planning, distribution and logistics, SLC plant, milk procurement, and customer experience) ensuring a clear strategy is aligned for our network to achieve maximum efficiency while serving our customers consistently and reliably.
The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience.

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering or relevant work experience.

**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**
**Volunteer Engagement** Lead the development, implementation, and management of volunteer programs to engage alumni and friends in important opportunities that support the college's goals.
+ Recruit, train, steward and track volunteers for key initiatives, including mentorship programs, career panels, regional networks, and advisory boards.
+ Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure a seamless and exciting experience for all volunteers.
+ Create or maintain processes for effective data collection and analysis for internal and external volunteer efforts. Meet annual volunteer engagement metrics as defined by CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education).
+ Supervise the creation and dissemination of volunteer-related communications, ensuring timely and effective engagement.
+ Identify, promote, and support alumni and volunteer recognition opportunities. Examples include alumni awards, alumni publications, honorary degrees, etc.
+ Champion engagement of recent graduates by supporting the efforts of the Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Board; Provide logistical and program support of their initiatives, board member engagement, board meetings and events.
+ Facilitate the annual awards selection process for the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards, Recent Alumni Award, and Alumni Engagement Medal and assist with the nominations of college alumni for awards given by the campus, University of Colorado system, and other awards deemed relevant.
+ In partnership with the Director of Alumni and Donor Engagement and team members, review the effectiveness of volunteer programs and make suggestions for modifications and improvements.
+ Lead all engagement efforts for the college on the Forever Buffs Network including communications, volunteerism, and mentoring.
+ Partner with the Director of Alumni Engagement and CEAS Marketing and Communications teams to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and storytelling that highlight alumni achievements and opportunities to connect.
+ Develop and complete crucial communications plans to engage volunteers through email, newsletters, social media, and web content.
+ Use CRM database and other relevant systems to input volunteer activity, contact reports and pull reports to supervise progress throughout the year.
+ Manage an annual budget related to volunteer engagement activities.
+ Collaborate with Advancement Services to ensure data accuracy and effective reporting mechanisms.
**Alumni Engagement and Advancement Support**
+ Partner with CEAS development staff to engage, steward and manage important donors, volunteers and allies to the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
+ Actively participates in relevant Advancement division-wide working groups and committees as a representative of CEAS.
+ Attend monthly Alumni Engagement Roundtable meetings to share information, discuss standard processes and identify potential partnerships and joint initiatives.
+ Generate and refer alumni story ideas for print and electronic communications for the college.
+ Work with alumni engagement team to assist with overall alumni and donor engagement activities and take ownership over certain initiatives when the need and skills align.
+ Actively participate and support college advancement events and initiatives as necessary.
+ Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Alumni and Donor Engagement.

+ This position may require local, regional, and out-of-state travel to engage with university constituents.
+ This position has the ability to work a hybrid schedule with some days on campus (Monday and Wednesday) and some days remote.

As the AV Behavior and AI Safety Technical Lead, you will be responsible for working with our partners and customers to define safety strategies and targets for AI/ML based autonomous driving systems. You will connect deeply to understand their challenges and needs, collaborate on new machine learning solutions, assess the safety of existing production models and cloud environments, collaborate on proof of concepts for new generative AI solutions and provide safety guidance to a team of AI/ML developers. You will apply your experience with ISO 8800 and ISO 21448 to ensure we develop, deploy and maintain safe AI/ML systems in simulation, on closed course and on public roads.
**What You'll Do (Responsibilities)**
+ Referencing ISO 8800, ISO 21448 and AV industry best practices, develop the strategy for ensuring safe AI/ML and autonomous system development, deployment and maintenance.
+ Work with software, data science and systems engineering teams to ensure GM safely trains new machine learning models to enable autonomous systems.
+ Ensure continuity of safety as we enhance existing machine learning models to increase performance.
+ Set the safety standard for how we prototype, test and deploy new AI solutions, including Generative AI
+ Set the strategy for testing and validation of data sets and develop an assurance plan.
+ Set the strategy for how we systematically break down operational design domain components and driving behavior components and how these are validated in aggregate and on a per behavior level.
+ Work with data science, systems engineering and software teams to set the strategy for how we establish safety launch targets across vehicle behaviors and in aggregate
+ Setup an assurance process to validate launch targets have been achieved
**Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
+ 7+ years of experience in machine learning, engineering, data science, or a related field
+ 7+ years in autonomous vehicle or robotics development or related field
+ Looking for Extensive Experience in the following:
+ **Machine Learning & AI Safety:** ISO 8800, ISO 21448 and other applicable industry standards and best practices for autonomous vehicles, aerospace and/or robotics.
+ **Validation of AI Driven Autonomous Systems:** Setting the strategy for E2E validation using techniques appropriate to validate AI models
+ **Programming & Frameworks** : **Python** , R, Java, PySpark, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, LangChain, SQL
+ - **Machine Learning & AI** : Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, RAG, Deep learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), SVM, XGBoost, Random Forest, Decision Trees, Clustering
+ **Cloud & Big Data Platforms: (Preferred** Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Machine Learning, Databricks)), **Nice to Have** (AWS (S3, SageMaker, Bedrock) or Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, AI Platform) )
+ **Deployment & MLOps:** **MLflow** , Model Monitoring & Versioning, Docker & Kubernetes, **GitHub** , Jira
+ **Data Analysis & Visualization** : Tableau, PowerBI, Pandas, NumPy
+ Proven track record providing technical safety leadership in AI/ML and AV development
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
+ Strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement

+ Experience with generative AI solutions that you have developed and deployed into a production environment that have provided significant incremental business value
+ Experience leading a team of data scientists to exceed customer expectations
**Compensation:**
+ The expected base compensation for this role is $227,800- $349,600 USD Annually
+ Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position
+ Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance
