Produce and control the correct implementation of the reinforced basket. Correct and fix the pre-stressing steel cars on the spire constantly. Work with Crane Operator to transfer products from basket to tension stand. Report noticed defects and faults to the manager. Conduct strenuous and physically demanding task for long hours and in extreme environmental conditions. Gather, inspect, repair and replace reusable materials and components for production rotation. Compliance with the general OHS and fire safety instructions and workplace instructions. + POST-JOB CLEANUP: Basic cleanup duties, general housekeeping, use of basic hand tools, and reading tape measure. YOUR DAY TO DAY: As our Assembler IV, you'll perform a variety of electronic, mechanical, or composite assembly tasks in support of our SATCOM Antenna business. You've got demonstrated skills of a fully experienced and versatile assembler with the ability to produce a consistent high production level and high quality of product. Machines & Equipment used: Soldering irons, soldering aids, cutters, skill saws, and applicable hand tools, vacuum equipment, RF induction heating equipment, cold test equipment, spot welding, laser welding and heliair welding equipment, brazing equipment, measuring calipers, voltmeters, electronic multi-meter, heat guns, glue guns, tie wrap guns, crimpers, crimping machines, etc. Composite assemblers will work with pneumatic and hand tools, gel coating and spray painting or spray gun, buffing and sanding equipment YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Performs diverse, intricate, high-level electronic, mechanical, or assembly work requiring experience and versatility. Uses all assembly tools with facility. May make own set-up. Comprehensive understanding of assembly sketches, blueprints, and schematics. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Aircraft Structural Assembler is responsible for performing complex final assembly for production parts and flyaway composite parts, specifically. Tasks include final fit up, finishing work, drill and tap, final assembly, and bonding of parts.
