* Accurately install conduit - This is the primary skillset for this job
* Read and follow blueprints during construction process.
* Measure, bend, cut, thread, ream, assemble, and install rigid and EMT conduit.
* Must have experience with hydraulic benders, (i.e., able to run bigger sizes of conduit)
* Must have experience with the installation and termination of panels, switchgear, transfer switches, transformers, etc.
* Must be able to correctly setup and pull wire based on blueprints.

About the Role
The Automation Systems Electrician will be responsible for preparing and organizing machine wiring and panels from electrical schematics to supply all necessary power for machine builds. Identify placement of components and work with engineering to develop a layout for the system that is functional, enables an efficient build cycle and is esthetically pleasing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review layouts and schematics provided by engineering and discuss changes where improvements can be made.
Develop a plan for cable management including power source, physical wire location through the cell and cable trays required.
Mount electrical panels for the system and build the layout of the cell.
Identify and decide the number and types of electrical components required to power the system.
Assist during electrical inspections of machines by explaining core machine functions, voltage and certifications of equipment.
Carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning components.
Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair.

This is a general application for current and future Electrician Helper openings with Amteck. Ideal candidates will be willing and able to work in a traveling role at one of our construction sites across the United States.
This position will qualify the candidate for participation in our apprenticeship program, and can provide long-term opportunities in the Electrical trade as well as steady work, benefits, and a 401K.
Primary Role:
Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other
leadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level,
and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck's accredited apprenticeship program to work and study
toward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure. Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to
learn and grown in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with
other skill sets within the electrical trade.
Requirements:
• 0-2 years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
• Experience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit preferred but not required
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required
• Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician
