Turn rooms after resident departure including changing linens. Wipe down equipment, appliances, and hard surfaces. Clean windows as needed. Perform deep cleaning as needed. Notify manager of necessary maintenance repairs. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Standing, squatting, bending, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing, pulling. These objectives will include maintaining the physical asset by ensuring that it is always clean and in good condition. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will assist in maintaining and strengthening our reputation. Responsibilities and Duties Safety - Reports all liability and community incidents immediately to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. Ensures that all workers' compensation claims are reported and property paperwork is completed. Ensures that all safety guidelines are being met. Ensures that when utilizing the maintenance shop that it is kept in an orderly condition per Pauls' standards. Must have strong understanding of MSDS, general safety training, wearing of proper safety equipment, property lifting techniques, etc. Resident Relations/Service Requests - Maintains a positive customer service attitude. As instructed, may possibly respond to specific resident/management requests and service requests. Works with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager based on their direction to determine which requests or emergencies are a top priority. Ensures that all service requests are completed accurately and turned back in as they are completed. May be required to deliver notices to residents. Make-Ready Apartments - As a Housekeeper, you may be asked to assist in trashing out apartments and the cleaning of make-ready apartments. Your Maintenance Supervisor will determine the schedule ahead of time as well as all assignments. Property Common Areas/Amenity Areas/Building Exterior/Model, etc. - Works with Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to ensure that the leasing office, clubhouse, amenity areas, building exterior, building hallways, model, pool area, etc. are all clean and look their best. Maybe required to assist with trash pick-up as well. May also be required to water plants and flowers as well. Will perform a variety of cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, and polishing. May even do touch-up painting. Ensures that all rooms are cared for and inspected according to the highest standards. Preventive Maintenance/Supplies - Coordinate, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment that I related to the job.
