Job Overview
Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time Pediatric RN to join our Inpatient Unit. In this unique role, you'll provide compassionate, family-centered care to children requiring Med-Surg and ICU-level nursing-including those recovering from burns and complex craniofacial conditions.

The RN House Supervisor reports directly to nursing resources leadership and indirectly to the administrator on call (AOC) demonstrating leadership to effectively partner with hospital leaders and medical staff to meet and exceed the hospital's mission, vision and goals.
The RN House Supervisor provides leadership for department supervisors, assistant nursemanagers and charge nurses in absence of traditional leader. He/she also serves as a mentor. The RN House Supervisor is the standard bearer and holds all team members accountable for the delivery of safe, quality care and services through effective communication, observation, and management through collaboration and servant leadership. The RN House Supervisor uses performance improvement methodology, successfully applies Lean Six Sigma principles and evidenced-based practice. Serves as a change agent for implementing best practice.
The RN House Supervisor serves as a safety officer ensuring that safety, regulatory and quality standards are upheld through effective use of data and technology to make decisions and proactively mitigate unnecessary risks; and supporting a culture of safety and a safe work environment. Position Summary:
A Clinical Coordinator assists with the daily coordination of personnel and resources within the scope of assignment. Under the supervision and guidance of an assigned RN preceptor, or mentor, the Nurse Resident develops the basic knowledge and clinical skills necessary to function independently in a RegisteredNurse position. The Nurse Resident is a recent nursing graduate with less than one year of nursing experience.
Positions may be available at any Legacy facility: Emanuel, Good Samaritan, Meridian Park, Mount Hood, Randall Children's Hospital, Salmon Creek, Silverton, and Unity Center for Behavioral Health.
Applicants to previous rounds of the Residency program need to submit all the required materials for each program.

Eligibility:

Program participation agreement
All candidates accepted into the RN Residency Program will be asked to sign an employment agreement stating a commitment to the Legacy Health unit of hire for at least 12 months. This document will be provided during the onboarding process for all new hires accepted into this program.

Qualifications:
Education:
