Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our Skokie market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants. What You'll Be Doing * Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience * Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures * Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication * Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards * Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching * Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer * Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality * Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve * Critical hours are over lunch Monday - Friday (9:30 am - 2 pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need Who You Are: * You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service * You are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other people * You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up * You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you're capable of finding solutions * You are a strong communicator and self-starter * You are organized and detail oriented.
