    Provides mental health services to victims of crime served by the Children's Justice Center. Implements mental health best practice services to fulfill national accreditation standards. Participates in multidisciplinary team protocols to represent the best interest of child victims using a victim centered and trauma informed approach. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree from accredited college or university in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling or other closely related field, and Licensed as a Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Utah. Preference given to those with at least four (4) years of experience in a child related setting, with one (1) year of experience working with child victims, and one (1) year of counseling experience with youth. Required to successfully complete 40 hours of evidence-based trauma-informed training within six (6) months of hire according to national accreditation standards. A valid Driver's license issues by the State of Utah is required to operate a vehicle. Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must successfully pass a criminal background check as well as every two years thereafter and continuously meet the requirements of the Bureau of Criminal Information (BCI). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. Provides training and education to the CJC staff and agency partners to facilitate a victim centered and trauma informed approach. Maintains the program treatment provider linkage agreement partnerships with community based mental health agencies and collects required documentation to fulfill national accreditation standards. Completes annual training and clinical supervision requirements for licensure and national accreditation standards. Implements data entry, required documentation, and various reports. Keeps manager informed and makes recommendations to improve mental health services. Performs other duties as assigned.
