Society of St Andrew company history timeline
In 1985, the Society of St Andrew launched Harvest of Hope, a gleaning and study camp for youth.
A major component of Harvest of Hope is field gleaning. As a result, the Gleaning Network was established in Virginia in 1988.
A new building was constructed in 1990 to house the growing ministry.
Beginning in 1992, the Society of St Andrew has expanded into other states in the form of regional offices and gleaning ministries.
Utilizing the bequest of Charles Barker received in 2006, the Barker Fund is established to further the Society's philanthropic mission.
Andrew Carnegie donates $100,000 (equal to $2,700,000 in 2016) to the Saint Andrew's Society.
The 2022 Annual Banquet will mark our fifty-fifth celebration of Saint Andrew’s Day.
