Denis Machuel became Chief Executive Officer of Sodexo January 23, 2018. He was Deputy CEO from September 2017 to January 2018.

Denis joined Sodexo in 2007, as CEO of Benefits & Rewards Services for Central & Eastern Europe. In 2010, he moved to lead Sodexo’s Benefits & Rewards Services in Europe and Asia, and in January 2012, he became CEO of Sodexo Benefits & Rewards worldwide. Denis joined the Sodexo Group Executive Committee in January 2014. He contributed to the Group’s transformation, from a country-based structure to one based on global client segments. He was also appointed Group Chief Digital Officer in January 2015. In September 2016, Denis took on the additional role of CEO of Personal and Home Services.

Denis is a strong advocate of diversity and inclusion in all its aspects. As an executive sponsor of the Sodexo Diverse! Network and Sodexo Disability Voicetask force, Denis has strengthened Sodexo’s commitments towards diversity and inclusion. In 2016, he signed the International Labor Organization’s Global Business Disability Network Charter on behalf of Sodexo - the first global charter on disability inclusion in the workplace.

In addition, Denis led the initiative to offer Mindfulness and meditation practices for Benefits & Rewards teams, in line with his conviction that promoting work-life balance contributes to quality of life. He is an active meditator himself.

Denis began his professional life at Schneider Electric in Egypt, before moving to become a consultant with innovation and technology consultancy Altran, with Dassault Electronique as client. He stayed 16 years with Altran, holding a range of senior positions, including CEO of Altran Technologies UK. He also served as CEO of Altran Technologies France and as Director Offshore Strategy and Operations.

Belen Moscoso Del Prado is a Chairman at FoodChéri, Board Member at Capgemini India Pvt Ltd, and Chief Digital & Innovation Officer at Sodexo and is based in Ile-De-France, France. She has worked as Dir:Digital Strategy & Transformation at AXA, Managing Director Websites BU at Solocal Group, and Senior Analyst; European Marketing and Sales Strategy at Disneyland Paris. Belen studied at University of Warwick between 1994 and 1995, Singularity University between 2016 and 2016, and UCLA Anderson School of Management between 2014 and 2014.

Agnès Mauffrey is a Global CIO at Sodexo and is based in Paris Area, France. She has worked as CIO at Michelin.

Aidan Connolly joined Alter Domus as CFO in Sept 2018, becoming Group CEO in March 2019. Previously, he was CFO at Wilko, Worldpay and Sodexo UK - the last three years as CEO. He has held board roles at a number of UK PLC’s and international businesses. His interests include fine wines, great food & fast cars.

Alejandro studied at Universidad Centro de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Exactas between 1993 and 1997.

Alice Johnson Mason is a cook at Sodexo and coo/chef at Sodexo and is based in Palmdale, California. She has worked as Executive Chef/service manager at The Painted Turtle. Alice attended Boise State University between 1991 and 1993.

Andrew offers a unique blend of finance, commercial and management expertise. His business reengineering, process optimisation and systems integration skills coupled with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation have delivered significant value to companies across a wide range of sectors and geographies.

ABOUT ANDREW:

Andrew began his career as a graduate trainee at British Gas. After qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1988, he subsequently went on to hold a number of increasingly senior finance positions with globally renowned companies such as Black & Decker, Jones Lang Lasalle and Chubb Security. In April 2004, Andrew joined Compass Group where he was responsible for both the internal management reporting and external financial reporting of this £13bn t/o FTSE50 business. He also managed a number of major disposals valued at £2.6bn. In February 2010, Andrew joined Compass competitor Aramark as an interim manager and went on to lead three major restructuring projects in three different countries, over the next 39 months. Building on his healthcare experience at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Allied Healthcare and Exemplar, Andrew is now CFO of Sodexo's UK&I homecare business.

He has worked as Regional Director Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia at Sodexo; International Large Accounts Manager at Sodexo; and Chief Information Officer - Sodexo Continental Europe at Sodexo. Bertrand attended Paris ESLSCA Business School between 1983 and 1987.

Cathy Desquesses has been Sodexo’s Chief People Officer and a member of the Executive Committee since July 2018.

Cathy joined Sodexo from General Electric (GE), where she built a successful 20-year career in Human Resources, most recently as Global HR Leader of GE Power Gas, based in Switzerland. She also held senior HR roles at GE Corporate, GE Power, GE Capital and GE Oil & Gas, as well as at their global head office, working in France, the United States and Italy.

Throughout her career in Global Human Resources Leadership, Cathy has gained considerable experience in the development of a global talent pipeline, enhancing culture and, most importantly, the ability to create and implement human resources strategies to support business growth. She is a champion for diversity, employee engagement, leadership development and operational excellence.

She holds a master degree in Labor & Employment Law from the Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II), in France.

Cathy was born in Saint-Malo, France. She speaks French, English and Italian

Dean Brown is a Chief Engineer at Sodexo and Chief Engineer at CBRE and is based in Fort Worth, Texas. He has worked as Systems Company Representative at Fidelity, Chief Engineer at JLL, and Chief Engineer at Sodexo-Fannie Mae Plano. Dean attended Empire High School, Red River Vo-Tec between 1980 and 1981, and Empire High-Duncan Oklahoma between 1977 and 1979.
