At Williams his responsibilities also included the departments of industrial engineering, operations planning, scheduling and management systems. The most prominent among Mr. Soin's successes is his first, MTC Technologies Inc., now privately owned by BAE Systems. Mr. Soin founded MTC with his wife in 1984 as a multifaceted, high-technology and engineering services company that grew in 22 years to over $400 million in sales. At the time, MTC was sold to BAE Systems, its was Ohio's largest defense contractor employing nearly 2,900 people worldwide in 40 locations. Mr. Soin graduated from Delhi University in India in 1969 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He received a master's degree in industrial engineering from Bradley University in 1971. Mr. Soin has continued his studies in business, management and finance at Bradley University, Illinois State University, Harvard University and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1978, Mr. Soin and his wife proudly became American citizens.
