About the role:
* Deliver expert technical support to customers and Alcoa casthouses.
* Maintain close relationships with customers on various levels to support Alcoa's sales activities. Visit customers when necessary to provide assistance, anticipate customer needs and manage quality issues.

What you can bring to the role:

* Knowledge of extrusion, rolling, or casting is a plus.
* Strong customer focus, communication, and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills with experience developing and executing go-to-market for new products.
* Fluent in English (other languages is a plus).

* Strong understanding of site commissioning and oversight of engineered solutions including IEC61850 projects.

Your role and responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:
* Plans project on-site activities with Project Manager including necessary local resources, equipment and milestones.
* Coordinates agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy.
* Responsible, from receiving the assigned site area from the customer or Project Manager to handing over to the end customer on completion day, for coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
* Serves as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations such as authorities, banks, and suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.
* Ensures detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the ABB H&S plan.
* Ensures all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project.
* Empowered to suspend any activities on site (be it by ABB personnel or by subcontractors) in case of HSE violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that ABB employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.
* Ensures correct handling, storage and installation of ABB-delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage as well as shipment logistics to secure timely site delivery of equipment and material.
* Manages the sub-contractors on site hired by ABB to ensure necessary quality and progress achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
* Controls project cost for the project site work, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final cost for the same. Manages the petty cash and has delegated authority for local purchasing within agreed limits.
* Ensures all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling system is maintained, and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
* Ensures (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
* Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies. Coordinates local accommodation, site facilities, office equipment, etc.
Qualifications for the role
* BS Engineering, BS Management required.
* 5+ Years Field service project experience with an electrical OEM, experience leading long term field assignments, and field quality assurance delivery focusing on procedures and implementation.
* Ability to travel 80-100% of the time within North America and ability to be away from home for extended periods.
* Strong understanding of site commissioning and oversight of engineered solutions including IEC61850 projects.
* Ability to develop and implement test, start-up, and commissioning plans with third party Cx agents.
* Experience leading start-up teams responsible for ABB and GE LV and MV electrical equipment, relays, and PRN networks preferred.

TENAX Technologies is currently seeking Network Specialists to provide systems, application, communications and network systems support in service of the Air National Guard (ANG) Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Special Operations Center (SOC). The Network Specialist will interface with fellow contractors, military personnel, and government clients in support of network infrastructures supporting RPA in addition to providing direct hands-on network expertise to install and maintain network architectures for the RPA-SOC, which operates 24/7/365. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network technologies, protocols, and standards required to integrate and sustain information transport systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide ongoing support of communications and network systems architecture, video distribution, long-haul communications systems, and enhancement support for operations.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain RPA-SOC computer and network systems including hardware, software, operations support for Microsoft Windows and other operating systems at multiple classification levels.LAN/WAN communications, firewalls, operations support for Microsoft Windows operating systems, and networks at multiple classification levels.
Ensure proper configuration of servers, virtual servers, storage solutions, computer, and software necessary routers, switches, firewalls, crypto and other communications equipment necessary for the successful operation of the RPA-SOC.
Maintain accurate records of service requests and resolutions.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Requirements
+/- 5 years of experience with network design, testing, development, and integration
Experience with LAN/WAN, cryptographic equipment, multicast routing on Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment such as Cisco.
Knowledge of industry best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security and service availability throughout the system life cycle.
Ensure network and equipment meet applicable security technical implementation guides (STIGs).
Identify technical applicability, remediate, and support mitigation of IAVA notices and support metric reporting.
Experience in VMWare virtualized environment.
Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.
Knowledge of computer networking and network-based information assurance devices.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
Clearance Requirement:
An active TS clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is required.
Mandatory Requirement:
Security+ CE Certification or similar DOD 8570 IAT II certification. Will assist good applicants in obtaining Sec+ but must be obtained before start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
Other desired certifications include: MCSA, MDAA, CCNA, VMWare VCTA.
