Summary of Job:
This position includes general maintenance and repairs of all facets of a customer's facility, including buildings, equipment, and site. The maintenance technician will perform assignments in the installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of plumbing, electrical equipment and systems as well as basic carpentry task, including both preventive and corrective maintenance for multiple locations with-in a geographic area or facility.

Essential Functions
Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data on electrical systems.
Supervise Trainees, Assistants, and Technicians in the completion of electrical testing duties.
Guide, mentor, train, and supervise Level 1 and 2 certified NETA Trainees and Assistant Technicians.
Observe testing, assign work on projects to capable technicians, ensure testing of similar items is consistent across test technicians
Track project scope completion and communicate ABM and Customer Management
Maintain, test, repair, rebuild, and replace low, medium, and high-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers.
Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches.
Test and inspect low, medium, and high-voltage cable installations.
Maintain, test, and repair transformers and related equipment.
Test and calibrate solid-state and electromechanical relays.
Perform relay calibration and power metering.
Conduct low and medium-voltage motor control center and contractor testing.
Start-up, troubleshoot, and repair generator controls and transfer schemes.
Test and commission protection and control systems on high voltage substations.
Sample and interpret insulated fluids.
Complete Job Hazard Analyses including but not limited to arc-flash and shock analyses
Review and submit timecards, expense, and project reports.
Document test results and complete field reports.
Rotate emergency on-call duty.
Maintain strict compliance with regulatory laws
Assist in the sales process acting as the technical expert in electrical testing and maintenance of electrical equipment
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in electrical testing.
The candidate should have experience working with a team.
Experience in working on projects
Familiar with NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Standards
Familiar with NFPA70E Electrical Safety standards
Ability to troubleshoot electrical performance deficiencies
Ability to travel regionally and nationally 50%

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment
Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently
Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts
Order and install replacement parts for machines
Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs

Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required

Seeking entry level and experienced technicians, applicant will need to be able to diagnose residential plumbing issues/problems, which will include anything from faucets to drain clogs or conventional style water heaters and tank-less style as well. The technician must be able to do repairs as well as replacements of anything that has to do with the plumbing in any given residence. Technician should also be familiar with working any type/size drain machine to attempt to clean/clear any sized drain stoppage. Our service techs work inside and outside of our customers' homes and are always in direct communication and contact with them.

This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of plant-wide refrigeration and mechanical systems through technical analysis, system diagnostics, and preventive maintenance planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engineering evaluations and performance assessments of refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and associated mechanical components.
Monitor and document operational parameters, analyze system data, and implement engineering adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability.
Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, and related systems, using engineering principles and technical specifications.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration and auxiliary systems through root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Utilize computer-based control systems for data entry, system monitoring, and control adjustments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and safety regulations.
Prepare technical documentation, maintenance records, and engineering reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Professional experience in industrial refrigeration systems, preferably in food or meat processing environments.
Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical repairs on compressors, condensers, and other refrigeration equipment.
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, PSM/RMP compliance, and industrial safety standards.
Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and control interfaces.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Electrician
Position Summary:
This person will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support in response to operational changes resulting from the malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement or other modifications of existing and new mechanical systems and/or equipment.
Essential Duties, Functions, and responsibilities:
Maintain facility equipment utilizing critical thinking and advanced troubleshooting skills.
Follows all work safety policies and guidelines.
Completes all electrical/mechanical work that is needed in the facility.
Preform PM procedures that reduce down-time and improve overall performance.
Complete all work orders as assigned.
Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices, product standards, and guidelines.
Uses electrical schematics to troubleshoot.
Is familiar with Allen Bradely hardware, software, and drives.
Ability to work in a team or stand alone, with or without direct supervision.
Must be willing to train associates and receive training.
Maintains a clean and organized area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
Utilize LOTO as required when by passing guards or servicing a piece of equipment.
Punctual set up/tear down of assigned equipment on daily basis.
Perform emergency equipment repairs either alone or with assistance from other mechanics or team coordinators.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Have an electrical license or other certifications.
Understand and troubleshoot control voltage and line voltage.
Understanding and utilizing industry electrical prints.
Effective PLC maintenance and troubleshooting.
Understands Vacuum theory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
Follow diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturing instructions.
Must be able to troubleshoot malfunctions in timely manner and find resolution.
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
Must pass a background check, drug screen.
Must be able to read and write.
Need to be familiar in SPC, HACCP, GMP'S SSOP'S and USDA.
Computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Physical Requirements:

Industrial Maintenance Technician
Overview
Must have basic knowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Welding (TIG,MIG). Must be able to operate and repair at least 2 different types of forklifts. Technician must be able to work as a team or individually. Must comply with all Company SAFETY rules (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, ETC) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times.
Responsibilities
Ensure all assign daily PM's are completed.
Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
Provide assistance to other teams (Production, Quality- when needed).
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Safety Practices at all times.
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other personnel to diagnose problem or repair machine.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings gears, and other parts of machinery.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
Installs, programs, troubleshoot, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.
Follow all ISO 14001 procedures
Other duties as needed.
