Qualifications:
Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or closely related field from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathology granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American SpeechLanguage Hearing Association (preferred).
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in the effective use of technology.
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
Role Overview:
As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Key Responsibilities:
Compile, maintain and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required, including case records, test results, statistical data, and test inventories.
Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy in the areas of psychological services, assessment, placement, and planning for special education services.
Comply with all district and local campus routines and regulations.
Supervise SLP assistants or interns according to district procedures, consistent with Texas Board of Examiners in SpeechLanguage Pathology and American SpeechLanguage Hearing Association guidelines.

Responsibilities
Speech-LanguagePathologists (SLP) evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting, under the care of an attending physician. At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, the home setting may include single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.
The SLP evaluates and treats patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those requiring alternative or augmentative communication. At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, an SLP may often work with patients who have experienced a stroke, and those with progressive diseases such as Parkinsons disease and dementia.

Soundly Speaking provides both in-person and teletherapy services to our clients. Based on an hourly wage, we expect our SLP-Assistants to:
Treat a wide range of speech and language disorders
Provide detailed therapy to achieve short and long term goals as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
Be adaptable to the circumstance and work with their supervisor and case managers
Turn in paperwork in a 24 hour timeline
Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, State, and Federal Regulations
Communicate with families and case managers about the progression of therapy

We are searching for a SpeechLanguagePathologist - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will appropriately diagnose and treat patients primarily between the ages of 0 -21.

Responsibilities:
Performs patient evaluations/consultations and interprets results
Provides results verbally to patient and/or family/caregiver and/or to referral source
Develops treatment plan in conjunction with patient and/or family/caregiver
Implements treatment plan and monitors progress on an ongoing basis
Maintains records as required by law, IDS policy and administrative regulations
Documents evaluation procedures, results, diagnoses, and recommendations
Attends and participates in continuing education programs as required to maintain licensure and promote professional growth
Promotes speech-language pathology services within the community and the IDS
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology field of study required
CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association require
TX-SLP license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation required
2-year professional experience as SLP in pediatric setting (may include clinical fellowship but excludes training completed prior to completion of Masters degree)·
