Event Operations Crew Member (PART TIME/SEASONAL) SUMMARY: Performs a variety of duties in the Event Operations Department of Charlotte Motor Speedway Operations; and performs related duties as assigned. Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. Skill in using hand and power tools. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with CMS staff and the customers. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. This position is (PART TIME/SEASONAL) 29 hours a week plus additional hours and possible overtime during our event seasons. It is required that the position is available to work all three shifts during event weekends. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED and one (1) year event operations experience in a large event facility, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. A valid driver's license is required and a clear driving record is required.
