Job Overview: Balance room, restaurant and bar daily work. Post and balance charges and settlements in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain files and reset the systems for next day operations. (This is an overnight/graveyard shift at the Front Desk).
The ideal candidate will have previous HOTEL front desk experience and FSPMS (Marriott OS).

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Micros tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
• Run audit reports/journals from the mainframe, the Micros computer, and the system for automated credit cards.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout their shift.
• Input onto the PC revenue/expenses/allowance to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations
• Ensure all reports and back-up vouchers are complete and files properly.
• Ensure all necessary copies of documents/back-up and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper person (i.e. A/R, A/P, and Payroll).
• Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
• Coordinate with the front desk and restaurants/bars closing to facilitate a smooth operation of file maintenance and reset of system totals for next day operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Specific Job Knowledge and Skills:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to understand and communicate with employees and guests. Must have excellent telephone etiquette skills.
Qualifications:
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the functions of the job.
• One-year experience in a similar size operation required. Hotel experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: The NightAuditor is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate recording of property revenues. Prepares for next day business while creating an excellent first impression for the guests of Oxford Collection of hotels while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.
Administration (60%):
Verifying and posting charges to guest accounts if needed, verifying room rates match posting details, and verifying that charges are posted to the correct departments
Complete all reports generated by RoomKey and distribute them to appropriate departments
Ensure direct billings are posted to the general ledger timely, including meeting room charges
Perform full system backups and assign wake-up calls
Performs accurate month-end processing, reporting any discrepancies to the property management team

POSITION SUMMARY
This is a highly visible role which has a direct impact on creating guest experience. Welcome and accommodates guests, visitors and staff in a warm and courteous manner. Oversee the guest registration and check-out process. Promotes hotel services and amenities and provides helpful information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing quality guest service to all our guests and visitors.
Perform all duties toward the goal of maximizing guest service.

Ensures reports are correct and balanced daily.
Ensures the safety of guests throughout the evening.
Processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or email.
Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. Verify availability of room type and rate. Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
Accommodate and document special requests.
Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue. Input and access data in reservation system. • Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Handle cash make change and balance an assigned house bank. Accept and record vouchers, travelers' checks, and other forms of payment. Perform accurate, moderately complex arithmetic functions using a calculator. Post charges to guest room and House accounts using the computer.
• Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear English communication. Input messages into the computer. Retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guest. Retrieve mail, small packages and facsimiles for customers as requested.
• Close guest accounts at time of check out and ascertain satisfaction. In the event of dissatisfaction, research and attempt to resolve problem within established guidelines; may include turning problem over to a supervisor.
• Field guest complaints, conducting through research to develop the most effective solutions and resolve complications such as location changes or credit issues. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems such as price conflicts, insufficient heating, or air conditioning, etc. Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity. Plan and implement detailed steps by using experienced judgment and discretion.
• Summon guest service personnel for assistance to escort guests to their rooms as appropriate.
• Provide safety deposit boxes for guest by escorting them to the vault room, assisting the customer in opening the deposit box lock.
• Operate facsimile machine to send, receive, and log incoming transmissions. Notify guests of incoming faxes using the message function of the computer.
• Use the photocopier to make copies of items as required.
• File registration cards in room number order.
• Retrieve registration cards from the files for each check out.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor such as assisting PBX operators or reservations agents.

• Considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and help resolve conflicts.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and continuously perform essential job functions.

• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
