Key Responsibilities
Design and develop custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Senior SQLDeveloper to join our team in support of a Federal Customer. This high-visibility cybersecurity modernization initiative focuses on advancing customer's Zero Trust maturity through secure identity, access, and data integration solutions.
We are looking for a Senior SQLDeveloper to serve as a “Data Translator” and technical architect, responsible for extracting business logic from legacy stored procedures and designing modern data models and pipelines that transform Sybase records into identity attributes required by Okta and other Zero Trust-aligned systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Logic Deconstruction & Translation:
Reverse-engineer legacy Stored Procedures to determine how user permissions, entitlements, and roles are calculated, translating that logic into modern, Zero Trust-aligned identity and access models.
Data Architecture & Modeling:
Design and maintain logical and physical data models that support identity, authorization, and access use cases, including mapping complex relational schemas to flat or attribute-based identity profiles.
Custom ETL & Integration Development:
Design and build custom data extraction and transformation routines using T-SQL and scripting languages (Python/PowerShell) to migrate and integrate data from Sybase into Okta and related platforms.
Performance Optimization:
Analyze and optimize stored procedures, queries, indexing strategies, and data pipelines to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in high-volume and mission-critical environments.
Data Security & Compliance:
Implement database-level security controls, auditing, encryption, and least-privilege access patterns in alignment with Zero Trust principles and federal security requirements.
Technical Content Creation:
Produce high-quality technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and repeatable migration recipes to guide developers and stakeholders through the new identity data structures.
Solution Design & Requirements Translation:
Translate business, security, and IAM requirements into scalable SQL and data integration designs that support HUD Zero Trust objectives.
Developer Engagement & Technical Leadership:
Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams; provide architectural guidance; conduct code reviews; and mentor developers to promote consistent, high-quality data solutions.
Data Validation & Reconciliation:
Develop reconciliation and validation scripts to ensure 100% data integrity between legacy Sybase systems and target identity platforms.
Position Requirements:
Expert SQLDevelopment:
10+ years of Mastery of T-SQL including Stored Procedures, Triggers, CTEs, and performance tuning, with experience using bulk data tools such as BCP and SSIS.
Programming Proficiency:
10+ Years of Deep development experience in at least one modern language (Python, C#, or Java) for automation and custom integration tasks.
Legacy Migration & Data Mapping Expertise:
7+ Years of Proven experience migrating legacy relational systems to modern platforms, including data profiling, schema mapping, and transformation to identity-centric models.
Data Architecture Experience:
Demonstrated ability to design scalable, maintainable data architectures and models that support enterprise identity, access, and Zero Trust initiatives.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

Actively participate in the design of custom databases and processes.
