The Space Systems Engineer SME is an expert advisor to United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) customers on technical discussions, studies, analyses, algorithms, models, simulations, and other technical products and efforts tasked in the Space Sensing and Combat Power Program Element Offices (PEOs) and Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO).

Responsibilities
Advising the Space Systems Command PEO and SSIO leadership on technical and analytical approaches, architecture analysis, systems engineering, and development of future space and ground C2 and tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) systems for DoD customers.
Operate as an individual contributor and collaborate with a team of high-performing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Operations Research Analysts, and software developers that directly support the Government through lifecycle systems engineering and management processes to deliver critical space capabilities.
Provide oversight of acquisitions, technologies, and studies with specific focus on the system engineering processes to ensure end-to-end system closure and satisfaction of mission needs/requirements.
Developing analytic plans and defining analytic tasks needed to understand space domain awareness (SDA) and Combat Power mission needs and refine architecture roadmaps.
Analyzing mission data flows supporting closure of SSC kill chains to include data formats, latencies, and system connections.
Helping modernize space and ground system architectures for the future space enterprise.
Organize and lead efforts across multiple simultaneous studies and/or tasked efforts.
Frequently interact and develop productive relationships with program managers, SETAs, FFRDCs, and external stakeholders.
Support risk management processes and methods for identifying, assessing, and adjudicating program risk; Conduct analysis to identify program risk areas and recommend/implement mitigation approaches and lead tasks to closure.
Develop documents and briefings to communicate work status, briefs to government as required.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 17+ years of professional experience or master's degree in a STEM field with 15+ years of professional experience.
Significant background in systems engineering, SDA (both space-based and ground-based) and Combat Power systems development and acquisition, analysis, operations, and/or satellite ground architectures.
Space domain experience and understanding in SDA and Combat Power system operations, systems engineering, or developing, analyzing SDA and Combat Power systems.
Able to work independently and thrive and work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast paced, dynamic, and small team environment.
Strong organization and communication skills, verbal and written.
Proven ability to work within integrated Government, FFRDC, and SETA teams.
Ability for occasional travel.
Active Top Secret Government security clearance. US Citizenship required.

This position is for staff product applications engineer. The position supports semiconductor products, developed in Colorado Springs, CO, developed for the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) market. Products in this strategy include Device Power Supplies (DPS) and integrated high speed and precision signal chains targeted towards ATE applications. The product applications engineer will be responsible for ATE products from concept and definition through production, release, and sustaining. Responsibilities:
Lead the customer engagement activities associated with the development of ATE product concepts including new product definition. Work closely with customers and ADI Marketing/Design/Field Applications/Market Segment communities to define successful new products for this portfolio.
Be responsible for ATE Device Power Supply design-in successes for assigned released products and products under development. Manage relationships with customers during their design-in phase with a power supply solution mind set. This will involve gaining an understanding of the customer's application and providing innovative, practical, and timely solutions to customer challenges.
Analysis of product evaluation and reliability test data.
Designing and executing evaluation test methods to characterize and measure new silicon performance over customer use case and environmental conditions, interpreting the measurement data, identifying silicon issues and debugging to root cause.
Preparing evaluation hardware and diagnostic programs, designing test fixtures, and completing specifications and procedures for new products.
Contribute to ATE product datasheets
Creation and production of design-in tools that reinforce a product's customer value proposition. These include but are not limited to: demonstration systems, on-line tools and technical literature (user guides, application notes, Circuits from The Lab reference designs, design notes, technical seminars and FAQs).
Develop and participate in online and in person training activities for customers, field application engineers, sales engineers and distributors.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification with at least 5-10 years' experience. Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
The ideal candidate would have experience in switching DC/DC converters, analog circuits, semiconductor IC processes, and system engineering is also beneficial.

Experience needed with high level software languages. Examples include LabVIEW, C# or C, Python and Matlab.

25-446 Systems Engineer Secret or Top Secret Develops and publishes corporate business automation plans using cost-effective delivery technologies in support of major corporate strategies. Performs complex software design activities integrating multiple technologies. Provides architectural guidelines for all software design activities to current and future technological environments. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies. Responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technological activities. Will be responsible for designing AT and DEF SW solutions that meet customer requirements.
The successful candidate must possess a substantial understanding of system software deployment architectures and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). The candidate must have demonstrated leadership skills over software projects. The candidate should have an understanding of and possess demonstrable skills including: The ability to document architectures into system modelling tools, such as CAMEO or Enterprise Architect.
The ability to understand and decompose requirements to support verification and validation testing of software components. The ability to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test procedures. The ability to extract data to support analysis requirements. -The ability to generate procedures that test functionality. The ability to apply Agile and Lean Product Development principles as well as training others through a DevOps type environment. Background should include all aspects of the software development life cycle. Experience with VMware, Linux, and Windows operating systems, Git, Ansible, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel & Visio and other open-source development tools.
Candidates must have experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions. The candidate should have an understanding and knowledge of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to lead a team of high performing individuals across a multi-site, multi-discipline organization. Ability to analyze high level needs and through a structured and logical approach refine the need into an evolving architecture that leads to a fielded product.
Excellent communications skills required (written and oral). Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Able to write and implement engineering plans within a project. Proven interaction in a team environment a must. Previous experience should demonstrate the technical skills and position responsibilities cited here.
Ideally, the candidate will have previously architected automation pipelines to enable effective development within environments with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges which require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines.
