Key job responsibilities
The Commissioning Engineer (CxE) provides testing and validation oversight of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure. CxEs review design documents, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and manage third-party commissioning vendors in the performance of onsite pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing. They take Ownership of their projects' successes by Diving Deep to resolve technical issues and having Bias for Action to address everchanging schedule and coordination demands onsite. Additionally, CxEs communicate lessons learned and continuously collaborate on program improvements.
The CxE shall provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects. In addition, the CxE will be required to review component submittal packages, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), perform system level and integrated system testing. During commissioning the CxE will continuously audit activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for comprehensive weekly reporting of status of all ongoing projects and lessons learned to continually improve the quality of our program. This position will include coverage of multiple inflight projects and quick timelines.
A day in the life
On a typical project, the CxE works across AWS engineering, capacity delivery, operations, and contractor teams to coordinate site activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure each issue has clear path to resolution. The CxE manages the project commissioning vendor whose primary scope is to identify issues, determine criticality, propose solutions, and document their findings. If project turnover is at risk, the CxE escalates to the appropriate stakeholders. Upon project completion, the CxE will communicate lessons learned to help peers on similar projects in flight and participate in initiatives that drive improvement to the commissioning program.

The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering inputs integral to both small and large-scale hydro and dam projects. You will lead technical teams and mentor junior staff, support production, and coordinate delivery of engineering work products with multi-disciplinary project team members and external stakeholders. You will not only support and help grow the broader engineering team capabilities, but your particular focus will be on continuing the development of our hydropower capabilities and working with key staff in growing the business.

In this role you will lead teams conducting technical work involving turbines, generators, and their associated ancillary systems, as well as other balance of plant systems such as gates, hoists, cranes, pumping systems, lubrication systems, and other critical equipment at hydroelectric powerplants. You will lead teams conducting technical work for feasibility studies, engineering designs, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, and carrying out site visits and inspections. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a great team of engineers, technicians, scientists, and other industry-leading peers, and you will also interface directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design modifications to, or entirely new, mechanical systems related to dams, control structures, water retaining structures, and hydroelectric generating stations.
Execute multiple projects from the proposal stage through to completion. Projects will include a variety of small to large projects involving water resources, flood control, and hydroelectric sectors.
Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, and provide design and construction support.
Mechanical engineering design and refurbishment of cranes, hoists, hydroelectric turbines, generators, and other balance of plant systems.
Conduct feasibility studies for proposed designs and assess costs and benefits for alternatives in a systematic and thorough manner.
Preparation and review of reports.
Work collaboratively with other disciplines to execute project deliverables, as well as ensure that quality objectives, schedules, and budgets are met.
Edit and prepare design specifications.
Contribute to the development of the hydro-mechanical practice at KGS by assisting the US mechanical design lead by documenting technical knowledge, improving internal production processes, coordinating and developing internal training content, and other tasks.

About You
To fill the role, we're looking for an applicant to bring forward a good mix of qualifications and previous experiences. Some highlights should include:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. A post-graduate degree would be an asset.
Minimum of 7-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Washington, Oregon, or California, as well as eligible for registration as a professional engineer in other states by comity through NCEES; or, if not already registered as a PE, would be able to obtain licensure within 1 year from date of hire.

Overview:
The Senior Systems Administrator will manage and secure the organization's Microsoft Windows infrastructure, ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational excellence. This role requires expertise in Windows OS, Intune, Active Directory, and enterprise security standards. The position includes on-call responsibilities and collaboration across IT and business units.
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID and Group Policy.
Familiar with container platforms - Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Manage Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security.
Implement and monitor security baselines using Microsoft Security Compliance Toolkit.
Apply patches, updates, and vulnerability remediation across systems.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and participate in regular testing.
Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and policies.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues.
Handle backup and recovery procedures for critical systems.
Work with cross-functional teams on deployments and upgrades.
Mentor junior IT staff and enforce best practices.
Additional Tasks/Duties as they are assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
7+ years' experience in Windows Server administration and enterprise environments.
Expertise in Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows OS (10/11) and security hardening.
Strong knowledge of backup/recovery systems and documentation standards.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security baselines.
Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
Experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V).
PowerShell scripting and automation.
Knowledge of O365, SharePoint, and cloud-based email systems.
Expertise in O365 integration and administration.
Participated in large Enterprise based projects and Digital Transformation.

On-Call Expectations

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP System Engineer to manage the operational stability, configuration, and deep-level integration of the Google Contact Center AI (CCAI) platform and its related ecosystem. This role is crucial for implementing and maintaining core contact center functionalities, including call routing, WFM integration, and seamless channel connectivity between Google CES and Salesforce.
Required Skills and Experience
12+ years of hands-on experience in a System Engineering or CTI/Telephony-focused role within a Contact Center environment.
Direct experience with the technical configuration of Google Contact Center AI (CCAI) / Customer Engagement Suite (CES).
Proven expertise in setting up and troubleshooting call routing, queueing, and CTI integration logic.
Experience with the technical setup and data mapping for Verint Workforce Management (WFM) or a similar enterprise WFM system.
Strong understanding of API integration concepts (REST/SOAP) and secure data transmission protocols.
