The Maintenance Technician will support daily production by conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and helping ensure that our production lines run smoothly and safely.
This position works cross-functionally with operations and production staff and plays a vital role in upholding our food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. Our merchandisers specialize in retail displays and security systems, in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of retail display setups, proprietary security systems, electronic components, and merchandising products. Your responsibilities will involve hands-on work in various retail environments, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and contribute to enhancing the customer experience.
What You'll Do:
* Lead installation and break/fix projects for retail displays, security systems, and electronic components.
* Merchandise products according to specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
* Support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of proprietary security systems, ensuring adherence to company protocols and industry standards.
* Collaborate with team members to install electronic components such as sensors, touch screens, interactive consumer displays, TVs, alarms, and access control systems as part of security setups.
* Participate in merchandising activities, including product placement, inventory management, and ensuring displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines.
* Provide on-site technical support during retail store openings, renovations, refreshes and special events, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
* Follow safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks during installation and maintenance activities, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
* Document installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and training purposes.
* Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including project managers, supervisors, and fellow technicians, to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to retail displays, security systems, and electronic components.
Qualifications:
* You thrive in a collaborative environment.
* You're comfortable building fixtures and displays with basic tools.
* Physical exertion (standing, pulling, pushing, kneeling, bending, stretching, lifting, etc.) will be required during the shift.
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs. if needed.
* Requires repetitive wrist, hand, and figure movement, and ability to use tools requiring high dexterity.
