DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department of Juvenile Justice, Office of Information Technology (IT) is seeking applicants for a Systems Project Consultant position located in Florida. This position is a member of a fast-paced application development team focused on new and enhanced development in ASP.NET. This position is a "hands-on" developer for .NET application development projects.
The idea candidates must be highly motivated and have a strong desire to work in a team oriented environment. The candidate should have demonstrated working experience in providing software development for applications developed on an Enterprise level.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for architecture design/upgrades, programming, planning, and implementing a project, work with a team of developers; able to follow DJJ's Information Systems Development Methodology; able to troubleshoot and resolve system problems, able to analyze statewide agency business requirements and design systems to meet those business requirements; and able to develop user-friendly WEB application as well as client/server systems.
