Essential Functions
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as State Central Register Call Center Worker. Under general supervision, this position will provide statewide telephone coverage of a toll-free number for the reporting of alleged child abuse and neglect, making highly responsible decisions regarding intake and screening of information received on initial calls. The position will also secure all information necessary to accurately diagnose and evaluate reports of alleged child abuse/neglect and all information to complete initial oral reports and subsequent reports relating to child abuse/neglect or other child welfare services. The position will utilize Spanish speaking skills in the performance of duties. * Serves as State Central Register Call Center Worker
* Provides telephone counseling services or referral services for crisis situations; maintains familiarity with resources on a statewide basis for purposes of referral
* Provides information necessary to ensure that all alleged reports of child abuse/neglect are entered into the computer terminal
* Monitors incoming written reports for CPS units
* Translates and interprets, both orally and in writing, for Spanish speaking clients regarding services available and the proper completion of forms.
* Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
* Preferably requires a master's degree in social work; or a master's degree in a related human service field, supplemented by one year of directly related professional casework/ case management experience related to family preservation, family reunification, adoption, youth development, counseling and advocacy services or a related field;
OR
Requires a bachelor's degree in social work and one year of directly related professional casework/ case management experience related to family preservation, family reunification, adoption, youth development, counseling and advocacy services or a related field;
OR
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related human service field and two years of directly related professional casework/ case management experience related to family preservation, family reunification, adoption, youth development, counseling and advocacy services or a related field.
* Requires the ability to speak and write Spanish at a colloquial skill level.
* The college or university issuing a bachelor's or master's degree must be accredited, and the degree program in social work must be approved by the Council on Social Work Education.
* Requires that you write and speak Spanish at a colloquial skill level including the ability to speak, understand and write English and Spanish effectively and translate between the two languages.

Position overview:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Child Support Services (CSS) is seeking to hire a highly qualified and motivated Spanish speaking professional to join our Customer Inquiry Resolution Unit/ team in the role of Child Support Specialist Trainee. This training program provides the opportunity to learn the process of completing calculations of financial obligations and support balances related to child support accounts along with understanding the use of the Key Information Data System, Comptroller system, State Disbursement Unit computer system and other processes, policies and procedures related to child support.
The ideal candidate will have excellent mathematical, communication, organizational, and analytical skills to be successful in performing the operations of the Customer Inquiry Resolution Unit/ team.

Essential Functions
* Under immediate supervision, participates in an agency-sponsored child support services training program of up to twelve months in duration
* Receives training in and assists with gathering data via face-to-face interviews, mail, phone, and other sources and/or reviewing and preparing petitions, including those from other IV-D agencies/jurisdictions for Custodial Parents (CPs)
* Assists with managing the establishment, modification, and enforcement of court orders
* Assists with resolving customer service issues in a Call Center environment through direct customer contact or with other state agencies, legal partners, etc., by phone, written correspondence, and e-mail
* Receives training in and assists with interpreting and reviewing support orders, both judicial and administrative, for case review and entry into the system
* Assists with calculating financial obligations and support balances related to child support accounts
* Translates information and documents into Spanish for non-English speaking people
* Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
* Requires education and experience equivalent to four (4) years of college with coursework in psychology, sociology, social welfare, business administration, or finance or equivalent educational attainment in a related field; or, education and experience equivalent to two (2) years' college with a minimum of eight (8) semester hours in finance and four (4) years of experience in the Child Support Enforcement program area; or, eight (8) years' experience performing paraprofessional functions in the Child Support Enforcement program area
* Requires ability to speak, read and write Spanish at a colloquial skill level

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services is seeking to hire a highly qualified and motivated professional to join our Collection and Asset Recovery Unit (CARU)/ Real Property Liens in the roll of Child Support Specialist Trainee. Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking forward thinking staff who are focused on improving reintegration into society outcomes of individuals in custody. If you are committed to improving outcomes of individuals in custody, please join us at the Illinois Department of Corrections. As a Corrections Assessment Specialist you will be at the forefront of change within the department. You will have the opportunity to conduct risk assessments, that help the department better understand risk, needs, and responsivity of individuals in custody. The risk assessments will help guide an individual in custody's programming and help the individual develop a workable priority driven case plan. We invite all qualified individuals to apply.
Essential Functions
* Conducts motivational interviews with assigned individuals in custody to complete comprehensive risk, assets, and needs assessments.
* Evaluates the provision of designated programs to the individual in custody population.
* Completes 30-day follow-up Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) assessment for individuals in custody.
* Prepares complex written and/or oral reports for review by other professional and administrative staff.
* Attends staff training required by the Department.
* Participates in crisis intervention to resolve immediate or urgent individual in custody concerns and makes referrals to a qualified mental health professional.
* Develops and implements new program initiatives including, but not limited to: evidence-based programming, cognitive behavioral programming, and re-entry programming.
* Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
* Requires possession of a master's degree from an accredited college or university evidencing completion of a program major of social work, psychology, or a directly related field.
* Requires one (1) year of professional direct-client casework experience, preferably in a correctional setting, that includes conducting risk and needs assessments, and, performing one (1) of the following functions: client intake interviews, assessments, or other evaluative processes; professional individual or group counseling; or providing reentry services to individuals transitioning from incarceration into the community.
* This title is included as an Upward Mobility Program Credential title.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prefers at least three (3) years of professional experience using motivational interview techniques.
* Prefers at least three (3) years of professional experience in case planning.
* Prefers at least three (3) years of experience conducting risk and needs assessments.
* Prefers at least one (1) year of professional experience evaluating evidence-based programs.
* Prefers at least one (1) year work experience in a correctional, law enforcement, residential, human services setting, or similar field.

The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Behavior Analyst I for the Shapiro Center located in Kankakee, Illinois to perform professional behavioral analysis for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Develops, implements, and monitors behavioral program systems for assigned individuals. Trains program delivery staff in behavior analysis techniques. Develops program recommendations for inter-disciplinary or multi-disciplinary team review. Serves as a member of the inter-disciplinary team. Provides habilitation programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Essential Functions
* Performs professional behavioral analysis for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* Provides guidance and direction to Interdisciplinary Team members in the implementation of behavioral procedures to modify individuals' behavior and assists in the development and implementation of specialized projects.

Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Behavior Analyst II for the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center located in Anna, Illinois to perform professional behavioral analysis for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Develops, implements and monitors behavioral program systems for assigned individuals. Trains program delivery staff in behavior analysis techniques. Develops program recommendations for inter-disciplinary or multi-disciplinary team review. Serves as a member of the inter-disciplinary team. * Prepares complex written and/or oral reports for review by other professional and administrative staff.

Minimum Qualifications
* Requires possession of a master's degree from an accredited college or university evidencing completion of a program major of social work, psychology, or a directly related field.

Position Marketing Statement
The Student Worker supports the mission and operations of the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) by providing support to Fire Service Outreach with a variety of administrative and programmatic tasks. Responsibilities will include assistance with the OSFM Fire Museum Artifact Archive, collaboration with OSFM administrative staff regarding the Fire Museum floorplan layout and design, performing Exhibit/Fire History research, and general support for other miscellaneous duties within the scope of the Fire Museum project. The Student Worker may also participate in staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned to support the effective delivery of services. As a Student Worker, the candidate will not have access to state healthcare or benefits. We invite all qualified applicants to apply and join the OSFM team.
Essential Functions
* Under immediate supervision, for a period not to exceed six (6) months in a given calendar year, and while attending high school or college, assists with various Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) projects.
* Assists staff with various clerical support functions.
* Gains knowledge of work methods, procedures and related operations with emphasis on those areas directly related to the major area of college study when possible.
* Attends and participates in staff meetings, conference and training seminars to gain knowledge of agency programs, objectives and mandates and utilizes this knowledge to complete assigned projects.
* Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
* Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to enrollment in high school or college.
* Requires no previous work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prefers prior experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
* Prefers prior experience utilizing general office equipment, i.e. copier for scanning/copying of documents.
Conditions of Employment
* Requires a valid State ID.
* Requires the ability to pass a background check.
* Requires the ability to pass drug screening.
* This position is considered sedentary work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(a)). Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and requires occasional lifting, carrying, walking, and standing.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM, Hybrid work schedules available
