Job Title: Mammography Technologist Shifts: All Shift Pay Rate: $37-$43/hour (Depending on registered experience)

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a certified and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team. This role plays a vital part in patient care and diagnostic imaging, performing mammograms under the guidance of the Radiologist, Lead Technologist, Chief Technologist, or Technical Director. The Mammography Technologist ensures patient comfort and safety while following all regulatory, quality, and radiation safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
Maintain accurate documentation of imaging and patient records
Adhere to state and federal regulations, including M.S.Q.A. standards
Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and fellow technologists
Remain flexible and responsive to scheduling needs and workflow priorities
Participate in cross-training opportunities to support departmental efficiency
Stay current on departmental policies, safety protocols, and certifications
Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment
Minimum Skills/Requirements
A.R.R.T. registered and certified in mammography with at least one year experience.
Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience preferred
Advanced mammography training as required by the State of Nevada and M.S.Q.A.
Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
Works as an effective team member with co-workers and other personnel.

* Accurately completes operating room counts (instruments, sponges, sharps); follows proper procedure in the event of incorrect count; reports all discrepancies to Circulating RN and surgeon and/or corrects immediately.
* Maintains safe environment for patient, co-workers and self, per hospital policies and procedures
* Checks all equipment/instruments needed, prior to each procedure to ensure proper functioning. Equipment malfunctions or needed repairs are reported to the Charge Nurse and/or Materials coordinator.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist assumes responsibility for assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures on patients ranging in age. The Technologist demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department.
You will provide health care services by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment following scope of practice.
You will provide assistance to the Physicians during all procedural cases and demonstrates anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
You will assist, as needed within scope of practice, in Special Procedures and associated areas as assigned by the department Charge RN and/or the department Director including but not limited to stress testing, Special Procedures, PICC insertion.
