Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: * Assists the carpenter with carpentry duties to include but not limited to building forms, chutes, rails, stairs, and other structures as required. * Maintains a clean jobsite, picks up all tools and equipment and secures tools on job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. * Performs material handling and storage. * Loads and unloads material from trucks, manually hauls and/or hoists materials. * Establish the punch list process and close-out procedures with the Project Manager, Owner, and Architect. * Ensures that work is performed in a safe manner. * Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. * Reports problems to the attention of the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager.
