POSITION SUMMARY
ServiceTechnicians are responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards while performing skilled work for a variety of operational duties relative to the assigned area of responsibility. This includes manual labor and other duties necessary to accomplish the installation, repair and maintenance of natural gas distribution facilities. Handles customer requests and represents the Company in the community.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiates gas service, performs leak investigations and makes repairs
Locates gas lines
Reads gas meters
Conducts load surveys
Completes work order system documentation
Serves as First Responder in emergency situations

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean all areas of the Museum campus daily, including restrooms, office spaces, break room, and galleries on a regular schedule. Respond to emergency cleaning requests such as spills. This includes mopping, vacuuming, sinks, toilets, and mirrors, as well as restocking restroom supplies.
Operate heavy cleaning equipment on a rotating schedule, such as floor Scrubbers.
Perform meeting and event setups/break downs daily as assigned, including setting up tables and chairs, and ensuring trash receptacles are placed and emptied as needed.
Collect all outside building trash and recycling daily and take it to the outside receptacles.
Deliver all incoming mail and packages to all employees inside the museum.
Strip/Wax floors and clean carpet as needed.
Maintain the outside grounds of the Museum to keep it free of trash, branches, and leaves using gold cart, leaf blowers, and brooms.
Handle furniture moves, transporting items to and from the off-site warehouse using the SLAM truck.
Assist other Museum Departments and contractors hired by the Museum with a variety of tasks as assigned by the building Supervisor and Facility Manager.
Perform some routine building repairs/general maintenance such as office furniture installations or remodels, servicing doors, etc...
Help manage the Museum's offsite Warehouse facility.
Schedule and oversee contractors performing interior and exterior work for the Museum, including, but not limited to, snow removal, landscaping, tuck-pointing, roofing, painting, flooring, and doors.
Manage Museum pest control, both in-house and with outside vendor.
Respond to all furniture needs while working with department heads and the Building Supervisor to satisfy employees with what is needed for their office and workspaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license required
Must be able to properly use a variety of cleaning implements such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops.
Must be able to use larger equipment such as lifts and pallet jacks.
Knowledge of construction methods and materials will be helpful for this position.

Must be able to work nights and weekends with mandatory Overtime if needed.

This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification of Ice Machine and Refrigeration Equipment that serves the medical and research facilities on the UAMS Campus. These systems are essential to patient care and critical research operations, directly impacting patient health and outcomes. The Ice Machine/Refrigeration Technician will be tasked with performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems. These include, but are not limited to, hermetic and semi-hermetic compressors, air-cooled and water-cooled condensers, evaporative coils, thermostatic expansion valves (TXVs), solenoid valves, and various refrigeration control systems.

* 1 year of Technical/Trade school and 1 year of HVAC Control experience or HS diploma/GED plus 2 years of HVAC Control's Experience
