**Overview**
The Senior HR Business Partner helps the business meet its goals by tackling organizational challenges with smart, people-focused solutions. You will project manage and lead multiple key initiatives for your business that help the function meet the overall objectives. We are looking for both a coach and a business partner to help our leaders to inspire and drive the best possible performance of the team. You are a self-directed individual and can work within an environment of frequent change to make a significant impact to a very dynamic team.
In this role, you will report to the VP, People Business Partners, Revenue. This role will initially support leaders in our sales channels and you will work side by side with our sales leaders and employees to partner and get things done in a variety of HR related areas. This requires someone comfortable operating at a level and who understands that each touch point is an opportunity to improve engagement and drive business results.
**Responsibilities**
+ Project manage and lead key initiatives to support your business function. Understand every aspect of the business - partner with leadership and know the numbers
+ Preferred not required: experience supporting field based sales organizations, especially door to door sales teams
+ A partner and connector who builds trusted relationships with senior leaders by providing deep insights and helping them see around corners and keep a strong pulse on our people
+ A business partner who deeply understands Sunrun's strategy and Talent strategy and able to apply the strategic lens to the specific functional needs and challenges
+ A strong eye on talent attraction, retention and growth and development strategies
+ Guide client group customers to identified objectives by developing, coaching, and empowering
+ Integrate various HR products, services, and processes into your assigned business units
+ A coach who loves building and developing high-impact teams
+ A strategist and scaler, who can connect the dots between where we're going and how we need to nudge the organization to get there
+ Manage large scale projects from inception to implementation and subsequent monitoring of success metrics across assigned business groups and the company
+ Collaborate, develop, and deliver Talent policies, practices, and procedures that guide the business while achieving compliance
+ Partner with People Programs, People Operations, Total Rewards, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Inclusion and Diversity and Education to develop programs that continually elevate the engagement and caliber of Sunrunner
+ Talent liaison for most of the following areas: succession planning, talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent
+ Minimum of 6 years as an HR Business Partner with a mix of experience in fast-growing and more established organizations with experience including employment law, project management, compensation, training, and performance management
+ Previous HR or business experience supporting sales organizations and leaders
+ Strong understanding of business environment, strategy, and business unit needs
+ Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas balancing relationship success with driving business needs
+ Experience analyzing people data and trends to inform strategic decisions
+ Experience partnering and influencing senior leaders to help drive their people strategy and increase business results
+ Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a very detail-oriented
+ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Proven ability to partner and influence across diverse groups and experience levels
+ Management consulting, change management experience
