POSITION SUMMARY
As a Strategic Technical Product Lead you will be responsible for leading the effort that links our Grid Services products and Data Integration services. As the business partner to the tech team, you will be responsible for visioning and overseeing a best in class data platform for operating Virtual Power Plants consisting of multiple battery vendors and other distributed energy resource technologies. You must be excited to lead the build of a new technical product that requires an organized data warehouse for storing, validating, organizing, aggregating, and serving time-based energy data. The data infrastructure must help standardize the way we handle observability and monitoring.
In this role you will understand core business objectives and lead and define the future state technology platform vision. The Strategic Technical Product Lead role will define business requirements for the backend data pipeline, schema and API strategy to manage DPPs through a centralized command platform with a front-end product interface for internal and external users. Core to the data architecture will be API connectivity to battery and DERMS vendors, full stack web app development, data processing and normalization (e.g. telemetry), and data visualization (e.g. map and display all batteries, etc.).
You will also act as Sunrun's public facing technology expert and be expected to assist the business development and policy teams in partner meetings, at conferences, and in regulatory proceedings.
You will work closely with the Operations Team, TPMs, engineering leads, AI managers and designers across our product and platform teams. You will be seen as an advocate and thought leader about Grid Services technology strategy - i.e. OpenADR, IEEE 2030.5 protocols, etc. - and be expected to speak externally on these subjects as the lead SME. This role will continue after the initial technology build and will evolve into maintenance, improvement, and scaling of the platform as well as responsibility for aspects of the performance of the platform and the fleet.

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required
Experience leading data architecture / infrastructure products

Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, and Salesforce, AWS and related products

Located at bp's Whiting Refinery in Whiting, Indiana, the **Condition Monitoring Technician** is a member of the Rotating Equipment Engineering Group which consists of Rotating Equipment Engineers, Condition Monitoring Technicians and the Rotating Equipment Engineering Superintendent. The team is accountable for the Life Cycle Management of the refinery's rotating equipment, and jointly responsible, with the Rotating Equipment Engineer, for the development of Life Cycle Management Plans and reliability improvement strategies for assigned rotating equipment.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Responsible for the day to day health monitoring on assigned rotating equipment; work with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance to resolve identified issues.
+ Collection, maintenance, and analysis of equipment health monitoring information on assigned rotating equipment.
+ Maintenance of all vibration monitoring hardware and computer software on assigned rotating equipment.
+ Analyze vibration, bearing temperature and other rotating equipment health data and recommend solutions to resolve availability issues.
+ Ensure integrity of vibration trips to allow for safe operation.
+ Provide technical support and problem solving skills to address rotating equipment availability issues.
+ Shares, consults with other REG engineering personnel concerning best practices, troubleshooting, recommendations and QC.
+ Work jointly with Asset, Maintenance and Availability teams to improve equipment availability.
+ Interact with operations, maintenance, turnarounds and inspection personnel to resolve availability issues.
+ Support mechanical integrity activities for rotating equipment and compliance targets across the asset areas.
+ Conduct routine equipment health audits on assigned rotating equipment and drive resolution on identified deficiencies.
+ Jointly responsible, with the Rotating Equipment Engineer for the development of reliability improvement strategies for assigned rotating equipment.
+ Troubleshooting cylinder lubrication systems on critical reciprocating compressors.
+ Balancing of rotating equipment as needed.
+ Support and drive continual refreshing of technology to ensure monitoring equipment remains consistent with Industry standards, BP corporate specifications and Industry Best Practices.
+ Work with the Rotating Equipment Engineering Superintendent to pursue capital as needed for group equipment.
+ Performs facility lubrication oil testing program tasks per "WBU Rotating Equipment Lubrication Management Program"
+ Jointly responsible, with the Rotating Equipment Engineer, for the development of Life Cycle Management Plans for assigned rotating equipment.
**Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Proven experience in a petrochemical plant or refinery.
**Desirable criteria:**
+ Machinist and/or Instrument tech experience preferred along with machinery monitoring experience.
+ Vibration Institute Technician Level I, Level II or other accredited vibration certifications (ISO 18436-1).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Accurately and efficiently read residential and commercial gas meters
* Manually input meter readings into an iPhone to ensure correct billing

Installs and repairs residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment and appliances while ensuring a high level of customer service. Essential Functions:

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical school training is preferred.
Contacts:
Technicians regularly interact with customers, other employees (dispatchers, other technicians, drivers, and office personnel) and equipment and parts supply vendors.
Experience:
Apprentice - Will have successfully completed oil burner training course or CETP program. Journeyman - Will have at least one year of relevant oil and/or propane service experience. Master - Will have two or more years of relevant oil and/or propane service experience
Certification, Licensing, and Testing:
Apprentice, Journeyman or Master designation licensing is necessary in states where required.
Applicable propane CETP certification is required for propane technicians.
All technicians must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
All technicians must have a valid motor vehicle drivers' license. Driving record is reviewed at employment, and annually thereafter, and must meet company standards.
Equipment Used:
Industry related equipment including all types of hand tools, testing equipment, threading equipment, soldering torch, power tools, along with appropriate gauges and meters.
Decisions Made:
Technicians make decisions regarding the appropriate steps to take in servicing or installing equipment and heating devices. Complex problems or unusual customer related issues are referred to the Service Manager or other appropriate party. The apprentice works under the direct supervision of a journeyman or master technician.
Safety Considerations:
Safety considerations relate to safe operation of the service vehicle, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment, proper lifting of heavy parts or equipment, and general observation of the surroundings where work is being done.
Other Attributes Required:
This position requires dependability, commitment to exceptional customer service, ability to work independently, the desire to work as part of a team and a thorough understanding of the Dead River Company brand promise, guarantees and pledges.
Work Environment:
Temperatures may vary from below zero to above 90 degrees, depending on the time of year. Since the job involves working with devices that burn petroleum products, there is some exposure to the product and fumes. The work area ranges from the technician van to commercial and consumer sites that are occasionally cramped with little headroom.

Performs timely documentation Neurodiagnostic procedures in CareConnect
Verifies physician's orders for IOM monitoring and testing
Completes required ambulatory records to ensure they are accurate, timely and readily available
