Mr. Hamakawa joined Sanwa Bank in 1978. After obtaining an MBA from Harvard University in 1984, he assumed a number of planning positions in the human resources, corporate planning, and other departments in the bank’s domestic headquarters. In addition, Mr. Hamakawa is a director of MUTB, and he helps monitor the management of MUTB with a perspective granted from his experience.
